This year's shipping backlog has been the main issue, that being said the problem I'm seeing is the same problem that I read on too many posts.
First someone complains that they cannot find an item, then when an item is found the same someones moan and groan over costs, and this isn't just a lanard issue, I've read other line fans "I'll just wait till it goes on clearance" its the same no matter what you cannot please everyone 100% of the time. How about you look at the positives, Cotswold has products that right now are older stock, that many have been looking for. I'm sorry but if shipping costs are the only issue, take and try to ship large items cross country right now, cause the costs are fair. Cotswold will be carrying a larger assortment in 2022, As will several brick and mortar retailers. These aren't excuses, but what I see is fans asked for the Rock Mountain Fortress, Then they're given a fair domestic option, and here you all are moaning over costs. Which the costs are fair. And you want to blame someone, blame walmart, not lanard I mean its horrible they're not carrying anything....Oh Wait....They are!!! https://www.walmart.com/ip/Lanard-Ju...gure/595120393 https://www.walmart.com/ip/Lanard-Th...0?athbdg=L1800 https://www.walmart.com/ip/Alien-Ult...9?athbdg=L1100 https://www.walmart.com/ip/Predator-Super-Set/909359333

A play set's value may exceed it's $50 price tag, but not exceed the $70 cost when shipping is included. The play set features and quality just isn't that high. Meanwhile folks routinely pay $35/figure for JoyToy products because the toys are just that good. The value exceeds the cost. It's not just a Lanard issue, I recently passed on the 4 Horsemen's Krampus figure and generally ignore their in-stock sells because the shipping costs are so high that the costs exceed the value of the toy despite how much I enjoy their products. It's a fairly basic economic concept. |

Somebody still hasn't figured out the difference between cost and value. You can make a product available all you like but the value has to exceed the cost to the customer. Fairness has nothing to do with it.

You're not wrong. I have been asking for the Rock for awhile, and now it is finally available in the US for me to order. But I just can't justify $70 for it, now matter how bad I want it.

Not moaning at all. For about $5 more
I'd rather pre order the newest wave of masters of the universe orgins figures from bbts. I'm curious what would the price be if amazon had carried the rock fortress.

And the Australian market its $99.00 which translates roughly into 70.00 USD so the ROCK itself is priced fair through Cotswold Collectibles. Not much can be done about shipping costs on it, Although it is something that is being looked into to give fans more options, the only other alternative currently for this year would be attending the Lanard Warehouse Event in Sugar Creek. 101 S Sterling Ter Sugar Creek, MO 64054 2021 WAREHOUSE LIQUIDATION SALE INFO Begins: Friday, November 26, 2021 Ends: December 24, 2021 Hours: Wednesday-Saturday 9:00-4:00 Closed: Sunday-Tuesday SHOP EARLY AS INVENTORY THIS YEAR IS VERY LIMITED For more info on all CORPS! Yeah. I usually do the Horsemen's pre-orders but God in Heaven, this year after shiipping and taxes getting everything I want exceeds the All-In package pre-shipping and taxes. Thankfully some of the Lanard sets a cheap enough where the shipping doesn't entirely sour me (when I consider ease of obtaining out-of-production vehicles) but it is still somewhat of a cringe. I'm sure Big Bad would love to carry some of these or possibly Small Joes.
