Thanks! It actually wasn't tough to print. I just stood the stabilizer up on end for print orientation. The trailing edge faces toward the print bed (at an angle, not parallel) and the mounting surface with the tabs is totally vertical. I print with a raft to keep it from coming loose from the print surface. I have printed a total of three so far without any failures. So far so good.

With Night Raven wings you may end up with a fragile front end of the stabilizers (going from memory I recall them being pretty slim at the front end when I was a kid). It might be harder to balance strength with beauty on those. Are you planning to filament-print them or do them in resin? What's the z-axiz (delamination) strength like on resin prints? Is that even noticeably different than strength in the x- and y-axes?

I'll admit they look better than I expected before I first tried home printing them, but to be frank print lines are visible when viewing at the right angle. I just can't touch the surface finish quality of resin. Structurally speaking, however, these are very sound.

I still need to clean up the scan of the tail fins (being black it made them hard to scan).

Resin prints solid so stronger the bigger it gets. I notice PLA is pretty strong on the smaller side of things.

Some more iron work was done on the cannon carriage today. I still have a few hooks to swap in where a couple of bolt heads are right now, the cap squares (to hold the cannon barrel to the carriage) to add on, plus the implement hooks up front to model (likely created as a separate 3d-printed piece, but I may end up using some heavy gauge wire or a bent-up paper clip for that part). After that I think I'm a sponge bucket and a couple of handspikes away from basic completion of the parts. It will just be a matter of adjusting fine details and weak spots to make them work in a real-life print from there on out.
Here is where things rest at the moment:

A few side hooks, a sponge bucket, handspikes, and a correction to the ammo box lid are all I can think of that I have left to do now before I move on to print adjustment. So...close...

Last update for the night: The handspike is done, working on the sponge bucket now...
