Looks like ReAction is in at Super 7. My bbts order hasn?t shipped yet. Still not convinced about them but eager to get them in hand and wouldn?t mind seeing. Wave 2 to see where they go.

I have to say, I'm so afraid these figures' final production run will look horrid akin to Conan Ultimates, or Teela in Club Grayskull, or have those awful waxy faces. Super 7 doesn't have the best track record.
I'm hoping and praying. I much prefer these accurate-based designs to Classified. |

However, for whatever reason, they simply can't solve the waxy / shiny issue for flesh colored plastic. This is a very valid concern for Joes who feature flesh tones. I don't get why this is still an issue for them.

I have the Ultimate April O'Neil from Super7. It's one of the most recent Super7 figure out there. The sculpt and paint job are definitely an improvement from their Club Grayskull days.
However, for whatever reason, they simply can't solve the waxy / shiny issue for flesh colored plastic. This is a very valid concern for Joes who feature flesh tones. I don't get why this is still an issue for them. In the video with the Fwoosh, Brian shows the "paint masters" and they look like they should. But of course that's not production. He swears he will get likeness right, but it gets partially ruined by the waxiness, if that's what happens again. Other toy companies get this right (no waxiness). If Super7 screws these up like they did Conan and some of the Club Grayskull figs, I just don't know why anyone would have any faith in them and their overpriced figures. |

You guys see this? Is it just me or do these figures look huge? I am digging these and can't wait to get one in person.

They really look great, they've nailed them. I don't know which is better, the figures or all those amazing accessories. Although that gun for the Baroness seems off, is it from the comics or did they just copy the 25th Anniversary figure's weapon ?
Seeing these makes me wish Hasbro would let them make O-Ring versions of the cartoon and comic characters. Let them fill that niche and Hasbro can focus on the more realistic versions in Classified and Retro/O-Ring. |

The figures always look great in these videos. They never show the waxy / glossiness in the plastic, the derpy eyes, the bizarre makeup applications, the mismatched hip pegs, or whatever problems end up in the final version. Put a Club Grayskull Teela or Sorceress next to pictures of their videos and see what you think.
I'm very hopeful for Lady Jaye, but I'm never sure what I'm going to get from Super7.
