Just pumping them out!
Jem is awesome! Haha, glad you decided to add her. I know she took a lot of sculpting so as always, love the dedication to doing her justice. That hair is great and the paint job for the face is instantly recognizable as Jem. Well worth adding her to your group. Psyche-Out, Repeater and Hardball.....you don’t drop Joes all that often but then you do, they are perfect! Love how you tackled the layered shirts on Hardball & Psyche-Out, then the camo paint job on Repeater is spot on. Really making me want to revisit my Hardball since he was an early paint build I put together. Phenomenal sculpting on Saw Boss, the vein sculpting you do always comes off so cool on your customs and then that helmet, so badass! Never saw that character before but he’s awesome looking! Now I definitely have to check out that cartoon a bit. You utilized the parts perfectly for Ming, then made the sculpted bits fit in seamlessly as well. Total package, he’s one of your best. It’s hard to believe that he’s a custom and not factory made with the number of detailed, super clean paint apps that he has. Love him with the Defenders. Hahahaha, never would have thought to add Beetlejuice but I did love that toyline as a kid, had a two versions of him I think and always played with those figures. Another epic sculpting job with his hair and then a paint job on the face that brings it to life. Then those are some super clean lines, especially on a white suit where any mistake is catastrophic. And we definitely needed GB 3 / BJ 2 to be a crossover movie made in the 80’s! And those Duke boys look ready to start some trouble! They need a ride though! Great heads to drop onto that build for both of them, works perfectly. And more COPS! Haha, that line just never stops and you own like all of them! Apes was a perfect use of the exo suit parts. Brilliant build for Inferno, that helmet and head with the mustache is epic! Then just loving the sculpting for Nightstick’s armored bits, colors pop so well off eachother as well. Just such a super cool and diverse group, really killing it with them and loving the group shot! Weather needs to stop being so nice so I get back to customizing, making me jealous seeing all of this cool stuff you are adding to your shelves!

OUTRAGEOUS! I have been saying for years that Hasbro shoulda made ME Joe style figures of Jem. They could use the classic card art that came with the dolls. They have all the tools there. the heels. the hair. your custom is evident.
and SIDEBAR - one of the JEM cartoon episodes is exactly the same as "The Viper is Coming". it's Called "in Search of the stolen album". well sorta the same. you can tell the writers were the same. I think so anyway.I know Christy Marx worked on both. Anyway. More JEM stuff please! Pizzaz is on the list. I just don't know how long until I'll get to her. Quote:

First, can't wait for you to get back to customs. I make so few Joes that when I do they usually take longer than the other customs because I want to make them so indistinguishable from the Hasbro figures that they blend in perfectly.
Jem, Ming and Saw Boss have been on the list for this project since almost the beginning. Glad to finally add all of them. Definitely enjoy your Joe’s for that reason, I usually go for close enough or some artistic changes but always cool that yours are typically spot on when side by side with the originals. That was an awesome batch to drop, can’t wait to see what you work on next.

Haha, yeah, I need to knock it off with all the yard work / thinning of the collection and start painting some figures again! Goal is to use up all these figures before Vietnam drops!

Galtar looks great, though he's a bit too deep of a cut from the 80's for me, as I didn't remember him at all.
Man, that Jem is great! Wouldn't mind seeing some more of the cast in the future. Which is funny, because I remember as a kid being so bummed out whenever Jem was on; it's funny how the nostalgia bug changes your outlook on things. |

Been getting back into Hanna-Barbera since visiting this thread. Forgot how good some of the old 'toons were.
