A favorite gift from my childhood was when my mom bought me a mail subscription to the ARAH comics. Looking back, I'm fairly sure that was when getting the mail became my "chore" too. While there are so many great covers in the Marvel run, I still remember sliding away the brown paper mailer and seeing Mike Zeck and John Beatty's gorgeous cover to issue no. 39, "A Walk Through the Jungle." To this day, it's among the first covers to come to mind when I think back on the series.
Is there a particular cover that stands out to you as one of the best or one of your favorites? Last edited by TheOverlordCorp; 07-09-2023 at 04:51 PM.. |

GI Joe yearbook 2 is my favorite cover of all time.
Issues 10,14, & 23 were in the TRU 3 pack that was my first Joe comic purchase in about 84. #23 is my favorite cover of the group. #38, 45 & 46 were my other 3 favs from childhood. I stand by that option today. Quote:

The Ninja Force comics are some of my favorite. One of the favorites is when ninja force is on the side of the mountain looking at destro's castle. Another one that stands out is megatron holding cobra commander in his hand.

That's also the cover of issue no. 12, with an amended title.
