You probably don't think so yourself, but i think your customs are as close to perfection as we'll ever get. The Baroness is no exception. Great update.

Stellar job on Baroness, looks miles better than the 25th version.

Thanks guys. I really appreciated the blue 25th version when it came out--mostly for the concept and the new head sculpt. But in 2014 or 2015, when I updated my O13 to the updated bodies or post 2010, I felt I had to do something for the Baroness of the set. Using the 25th Scarlett in lieu of the 25th Baroness was a decent upgrade with some added sculpting, but hardly ideal. For this latest incarnation, we'll have to see if the torso actually holds up, or if something better comes along... |

HHFF,
Great update to an already amazing custom! Baroness is one of my favorite characters. I love that you have tried to replicate her original cartoon & comic book look. Looking at those cartoon stock images, the artist gave her an unrealistic thin waste as well, almost Barbie doll like features. As someone else mentioned above, I would love to see what you could do with the Shooter/retro Scarlett torso. I would imagine that the 25th Scarlett hips limits the Helix legs articulation just a bit. You may have mentioned it in a prior post (I'm too lazy right now to look LOL!) but what did you use to make the gold pads and belt? Green stuff? I would love to see a figure like this as a variant, pack-in figure like a 3-pack or with a vehicle. Jason |

Jason And looking at those sketches more kind of discourages me from trying to play with that new Retro Scarlett torso--needs a lot of work to get right profile. Well that, and I don't really have many extras at the moment... The gold pads were sculpted with 2-part Aves Apoxie Sculpt, I bought 2x8oz pucks way back in 2014 or so, and haven't even used half of the supply. I hate using the stuff really because of the time constraints. You have to mix//kneed it up for a few minutes, then wait a while before applying and sculpting, then wait longer for another good round of tight detailing, then longer to set before sanding, then longer retouchup//repatching, before painting. You also can't wait too longer or risk losing windows of certain consistency. Ugh. I'd only be interested in a Hasbro release of this figure if they used a new torso, but I'd rather see a new Scarlett torso first. Also, based on the new FANG pilot (ugh), I maybe don't want to see new sculpting... |

HHFF, IMO your one of the best action figure customizers on this site, Hasbro needs to get a clue, these are how action figures should be made period.
