I'm going to go a different direction and say 1989 Alley Vipers.
Mostly just having a gigantic MOLDED Cobra sigil in the middle of their visor, just a hair below the one stamped right on their forehead to boot. So assuming that the face shield is supposed to be see-through...yeah, that's not going to cause any pointless visual distortion for the wearer. In the event that the face shield is supposed to be armored with video screens inside...where's the cameras on either the helmet or the rest of the outfit? And still, what's the point of a second Cobra sigil immediately below the one right above it? Not even taking the face shield into account, we do have the nice stealthy urban camo scheme of day-glo orange with bold blue markings. Probably great for blending in against a wall of urban graffiti but makes you a giant target otherwise. |

Sneak-Peek, aside from looking like the Gerber baby would he be going into battle carrying his big periscope thingy?

Some rocket/missile launchers, like the Javelin, eject the missile from the launch tube by what's called 'soft launch' where the rocket doesn't ignite until it's several feet away from the launch tube. This would enable here to either duck inside the hull of the vehicle or scoot back away from the rocket once it's fired.

Once undercover (in jungle or city), he would set up a hidden camp (with one of the various G.I. JOE bivouacs or whatever works). Hence his "parachute" outfit. I always preferred his v.2 "Night Force" outfit. It worked more from a sneaky standpoint. Last edited by seaneley; 07-23-2021 at 05:11 PM.. |
