As far as I am concerned, if I can get a few Gryphons and Marauder tanks without paying for international shipping, I'll take it. It's not ideal, but its much better than dealing with eBay and international sellers. Having these products available domestically in some capacity I see as a huge win. Gas is also a factor. Its getting out of hand in my area so shipping vs gas for hunting....shipping wins in the long run for time and money.

Would I personally buy Final Faction stuff online? No, because I don't really care for 5PoA figures and they don't seem to have any cool vehicles to worry about. But I've paid for Corps stuff online before and I'll be happy to do it again. Hell, I been trying real hard to do just that because they do have some nice looking vehicles.
Toy stores and toy aisles are dying, shelf space is a premium and not something most big stores care to use for toys. Especially cheap "discount" stuff without mass market media appeal, and especially larger items that don't move that quickly. As much as I love going to stores to buy my toys, online has become my main source now and I'm sure it's the same for many people. Now ideally, Amazon would be a major carrier for these figures, because there are ways around paying shipping. But I'm happy to use some small but dedicated shop if need be. Hell, I'd probably prefer it because stores like that could use more business these days. I wouldn't buy a 5 POA figure with added shipping costs. I couldn't bring myself to buy the older t crotch Lanard Corps online with added shipping costs. If the modern ball jointed hip Lanard Corps figures were available through Amazon I'd already be knee deep in them. If a wide selection of ball jointed hip figures and vehicle product was available through a US supplier that justified shipping I'd buy it (or as someone else succinctly stated if cost + shipping < value) It's that simple. |

I get both sides here. After all the shill's talk about widespread domestic availability, a niche toy e-tailer is a let-down & the corps isn't exactly a high-end collectible people should have to go to specialty stores to find. But if Lanard can't get them into Walmart or major discounters (which is 100% on their sales dept, make no mistake), then it is what it is. Walt just needs to quit acting like this stuff is widely available in the U.S. until it actually is.

Multiple partnerships will bring more products, that's not being "shill" that's what's being done.
I stated months ago that announcements would be forthcoming and the JoeFest / Cotswold Collectibles announcement is just the beginning. Fans and Collectors asked for more options and variety and this is just the start. This should be seen as a positive not a negative, as these steps are to bring a greater assortment of items to consumers. More announcements to come. I do want to clear up another miscommunication that I seen here concerning the Lanard annual warehouse sale stating it's only open 5 days a year ...That's incorrect The Lanard annual warehouse sale is open from The day after Thanksgiving all the way to Christmas eve. ...not sure how anyone got that it's just 5 days a year, but I wanted that cleared up. If you're going to JoeFest visit the Cotswold Collectibles booth, More fun to come! For more info on all CORPS! this. i made it bigger for people to easier read. cotsworld was always 1/6, super high end expensive 1/6 toys. that's literally nothing i am interested in. and i should all of a sudden, start patronizing them because they carry a discount toyline that lanard doesnt want to put on a shelf at walmart? target? or big lots? and i should assume, that the same company that sells super high end, expensive 1/6 toys has a "fair" mark up to sell discount toys that should be on a shelf at walmart, target or big lots? the way they chose their partnerships and their brand managers that shill on message boards is totally borked and absolutely clueless. fuck all of that. seriously. to the guy that would be knee deep in corps, do you pay for an annual prime membership? so you're fine paying 89 bucks extra for discounted toys to be shipped free? you dont pay for prime membership? so you're fine paying shipping costs for discount toys? BuT YoU jUSt MeNtIONeD BiG LOtS yeah. i gave them a place they could sell their discounted line since walmart is being such a pain in the ass, like many other discounted lines before them like power team elite and chap mei big lots carried them. selling at cotsworld online is NOT an improvement domestically. "multiple partnerships!" move the goal post another six months. hong kong toy fair when was that? now joe fest? let's be real, there's no new valuable information to share. we've been at "just the beginning" since last february. Cotswold does carry a few items in 1:18. No mention of Lanard on their site yet.

oh, they carry joytoy 1:18. what an insane juxtaposition between 5 dollar 3 pack discount figures and 27 dollar boutique posable figures.

Walt is probably making a bigger deal about it than they are and are laughing about how big a deal he is making but at the same time soaking up all the free publicity. Bet they have like 1-2 items and that is it.

I just want Willie. I want to have a Willie in hand right now and it makes me mad because I don't think I will ever have a Willie in hand. Willie is on the website, but not in the store. I feel WillieWrangled.
