tkprime, I'd want to be optimistic about these releases and when these are available and how "widely available" they will be but I can only go by my experience. These are just about as available as GI Joe has been.

I think we are just between sets. I know the last time with the updated figure bodies they were there, then pretty much sold out right away. Then we got Kong and Jumangi and the little creatures the figures can ride on. Walmarts I have been to are heavy on Alien & Predator stuff so I am guessing once that stuff flows through we should get quite a load of Willies (haha nothing dirty meant there) and his friends on the shelves.
I know I am looking forward to Willie and the bugs and the smaller space ships for my Spaceport and I can't wait to see it at Walmart.

I'd pick up a Sky Strike(r) *wink, wink* if I saw one and it looked really cool in person and it was under $20, but that's about it. I've become selective, and after making the mistake of buying that Corps! 4 vehicle battle set and Aliens tiny APC for a combined total of $15 on clearance, and still thinking I paid way too much, I just don't need more cheap crap laying around. Matter of fact, I'm gonna get rid of that stuff and my Rain Fire and Beast, so the only Corpsy thing I'll have left is that Kong boat. That thing is cool AF and well worth the $5 I paid for it.

I never got the Beast, but I did get a Rain Fire recently. Rotors blades are ridiculously small, but over all pretty cool. It'll probably be my next custom project once I get my JoyToy AirCav guys in. |

That 4 vehicle battle set was one of the best deals I've seen in a while. What was it, $25? I ended up buying a second set because it was too good to pass up. I took the turret off of one of the jeeps and mounted it on a Cobra HISS. It's probably my favorite tank in the fleet now. The jeeps make for excellent Stingers without just being a recolor of the Vamp.
I never got the Beast, but I did get a Rain Fire recently. Rotors blades are ridiculously small, but over all pretty cool. It'll probably be my next custom project once I get my JoyToy AirCav guys in. The Rain Fire is fine and I don't even mind the tiny rotors too much, but it's also got a cramped cargo/troop area, and worth more to me sold on ebay than it is taking up space in my home. The Beast would be great except for the weird front canopy, the shitty molded handle on top (they didn't even try to hide it) and the cramped cargo/troop area. Both of them are too big to have such little space devoted to actual play. In the end, both the Kid Connection helicopter (or the True Heroes much better version) and the True Heroes C-130 are just better toys for my purposes.
