Biggest single Joe purchase was $500 for a complete Terror Drome last year. I probably spent more after it arrived loading it down with figures and vehicles, but not all at once. I believe the Drome is my single most expensive toy purchase.
Last Christmas, I gifted myself two Mattel two-packs of 12" Ghostbusters 2 figures to the tune of around $220ish for both. I love Ghostbusters 2 and do not regret this purchase at all. I paid $175 for the Snake Eyes/Storm Shadow/Stalker 'Nam three pack last summer. Based on auctions I was watching and losing by a wide margin at the time, I thought that was a fantastic price, and I'm still glad I finally have that pack. I would not have been able to justify spending much more than that for it. I don't want to know what my wife paid for a MOC talking Cobra Commander she got me for my birthday awhile back. I asked her where she found him, and she said "Amazon." I refuse to check the order history and see what that set her back. Was worth it for the sheer joy I felt opening a present on my birthday and getting a packaged Joe again. I regret missed opportunities far more than I ever regret purchases made. |

Any of you have other hobbies besides this? I do and some of them are more important to me than this. Maybe that is why I cant justify paying a lot of money for a figure that at one time cost in the range from 4 to 20 bucks. I also just don't get that magical feeling I got as a kid opening toys. Each his own if they do who I am to judge but it just isn't me.

I play Call of Duty and Fortnite, and the games themselves and the skins are cheap, but if you want a good computer (which you constantly have to upgrade) or a top of the line console, you're gonna be set back a few thousand dollars. Scalpers are an even bigger problem in the tech world, with ps5's, xBox's, and graphics cards being scalped before they even hit the distribution centers. Some folks even hacked into the websites so deep that they bought out the stock from the company's inventory before the listings for them were even put up on the website.

I am very pleased the Retro line is continuing. If you could have any vehicle released next, what would it be?

Definitely Zartan, runners up being Rattler, Stinger, Water Moccasin or a Night Raven.

This is one of the realest, truest, statements I've read on hear. So damn true. Very, very rare that I regret a purchase. But man, oh man, the ones that got away.

If I come across something I'm hesitant about, I buy and keep the receipt. Better to take it back to Target in a week than miss it and pay 75 on Ebay for a 20 dollar Marvel Legends lol. It's happened more than once.
