The Crazy Armed Joy Toy SUV is solid. It is sturdy enough for kids to play with. It is a true 1/18 scale vehicle so it dwarfs the other G.I. Joe SUVs. They did a good job on it. The MARV should be a nice addition to my collection. I do hope it is not as huge as the Joy Toy. The Joy Toy seems like a Monster Truck ready to roll and crush most G.I. Joe vehicles including the tanks.

The photos Greg posted in the MTF facebook group are making me rethink my purchasing options. I was planning on getting just the tan, but seeing the production samples now i think it's a little too light for my taste. However, the green looks [chef's kiss] perfect! SO that's what I'll be ordering instead. And, if the blue comes out right, I might have to make space on the shelf for that one, too.

Alright, enough teasing! The above image (and images in this post) are the Modular Armored Range Vehicle (MARV) final production samples. All parts, colors/paint apps, and packaging are what you can expect to see up for sale later this year. As of now the MARV should be in-hand and ready for sale sometime during the summer, but as always that is subject to change.
A blue MARV is still planned, however the samples from the factory weren't quite right in color. The color is being dialed in and should still be apart of the initial launch.

As a side note, the green and tan MARVs ended up as very close color matches to classic green and tan army men. It was purely coincidental, but still a fun upgrade to the classic "green vs. tan" conflict.
