I agree. I normally find soooo much at these type of places around Christmas, but this past year was slim pickins. Except Fortnite, which sat unsold THROUGH Christmas. Here were my Nov/Dec Ross highlights:
Black Series Riot Control Baton, originally $200, found for $44 Marvel Legends Iron Man 80 Years - Found several for around $9 Marvel Legends End Game Captain America - $9 Transformers Siege Ultra Magnus Leader Class - $17 (Originally $50?) Game of Thrones Dragons (McFarlane) - $7 Transformers Siege Astrotrain Leader Class - $17 Transofrmers Siege Hound, Sixgun, Barricade, Impactor - $8 each Transformers Masterpiece Movie Series Megatron - $37 (Originally $100?) A guess or is this being reported? Still don't have a minty fresh HISS or Awe. But then I haven't been in a store for months either. |

I have a feeling that a lot of good stuff will hit Walmart and Target for one cycle then off to Ross/TJ Maxx and Ollies. Prices will be better but damn. Just wait until Mandalorian figures start popping up at these places. When that happens heads should roll at the big cheese retailers.

Recently found a "the Original" Stretch Armstrong at Ross for $4. Many locations have the Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous Dino 3 pack for like $16 (originally like $40). Last weekend I found the Super Colossal Battle Damage T-Rex for $29.99, it was originally $50, but is currently sold out/discontinued and selling for $120 on eBay. That thing is absolutely massive. No idea how I'm gonna ship that thing. Lastly, found a dope wooden Mando/The Child picture for $10.

Just as an example, Lanard's The Corps! figures from the last few years are pretty good but I never found them at Walmart when I'd go look for them. I ended up buying so many of them at Ollie's for dirt cheap. And other sets, I bought on EBay at a slight (but very reasonable) premium. If I ever see GI JOE Classified or Retro figures at one of the discount retailers, I'll probably lose my mind. |

So very true. I find things for great prices at Ollie's that I would have paid full price for if I had actually seen them in stores at the big retailers during their initial run. It just goes to show how bad distribution is.

It is weird like they don't want to stock them but then when they have them get rid of them right away.

Found some of my Best 25th Joes stuff at Ross and Marshalls, the last DVD Box Set with Cobra commander and Quick Kick, Legion 5 packs, and many ROC stuff that never made it to Ross.

I found the Jada toys die cast 6 pack of Joe figures at Ross today. I went in to get a dog bed. Anyway, this may mean that Target has purged their stock of these 6-packs, or WM is starting to purge them. If WM is, then Hiss tanks are not far behind.
