All I know is, Sigma 6 is underrated. Especially the later figures, once they gave up on the Sigma-suit design, by 2007 the designs were leaning back toward ARAH. Awesome accessories too, even some badass spring loaded rocket launchers. They had a fun factor, which I would like to see Classified embrace a bit more. They would have been better at 6" scale however. And a bit less stylized, though not too realistic. Realism is overrated.

I don't think GI JOE would have grown to be as big as it did if they had stuck to the olive drab (disclaimer: I'm color blind) costume styles of the 1982-1983 figures and only traditional military styled weapons/vehicles. |

BTW here are some more pics of the unreleased 2007 Sigmas. I really like the direction they were going. But of course, the line was cancelled and 25th took over.

Very true. I do like the cartoon-ish aspect to the Sigma 6 line. Even with the classic o-ring figures, some people wanted tactically accurate weapons and colors but I loved when characters had eclectic costume designs and accessories. It gave them personality. I also loved some of the more ridiculous looking vehicles.
