CapBritain, that is AMAZING. If Hasbro did that I'll be all over it. It's about time they do something new (as long as its not stupid )

GI Joe is a captain in the US Army Special Forces, selected to lead the hunt for the terrorist organisation RUIN, global force bent on anarchy ... RUIN includes the pyromaniac Melter, the anti-tank specialist Scrapper, Knife-nut psycho Cut-throat, sociopathic assassin Onslaught, sniper Deadeye, officer Overlord, the mercenary Gravedigger and Head-hunters members Buzzer, Ripper, Heartbreaker, Machete, Burnout, Thrasher and the despicable twins Zandar and Zarana.

RUIN is the Revolutionary United International Network, a loose group of anarchists and ne'er-do-wells who are interested in revolution merely for the sake of destroying stuff. Zandar and Zarana lead the Head-hunters biker gang, but the leaders of RUIN itself are more elusive. They're kinda like Extinction Rebellion in that they're a banner for a series of cells causing trouble around the world. Some are affiliated with pro-Russian rebels in Ukraine, some are connected to Islamist groups in Syria *fighting* Russian forces, some are linked to Menshivikista rebels in Sierra Gordo, others to the Kalinga Rouge in Kalingaland, others to Shining Path in Peru, others to the Lower Darklonia Separatist Front or the rebels in Yemen, the pro-Sharif loyalists in Trucial Abysmia or the Taliban.

Oh, and is there anyone representing Africa (on either side)? It is quite a large continent, after all.

No, RUIN was a name I just came up with but I could easily live with something more ... better.
I'll admit, Zandar and Zarana is thrown in to please the Dreadnok Twins fella who's obsessed with them. Other than Overlord, another PID leader is a man known as The Black Major... Yeah, Heartbreaker is a rename of Heartwrencher because that's a stupid-ass name. Any number of "RUIN" members would be from former Com-bloc nations, Africa, South and Central America, the Mid-east or SE Asia. Battle Corps are intended to be more of a NATO force with certain Global Partners thrown in. |

Hot. Toys. I think I would (unfortunately) have to start collecting a 1/6th scale figures.

That said, CapBritain's idea may have peaked the interests of the Hasbro executives. |

my rates would be reasonable: I'll remote work from home, they can pay me 2k per month and a complete set of the figures.

my rough idea I brainstormed in the past 24 hours on and off...
GI Joe and the Battle Corps. GI Joe is a captain in the US Army Special Forces, selected to lead the hunt for the terrorist organisation RUIN, global force bent on anarchy. The Battle Corps is a multinational unit split into teams of specialist units. (Each time Joe joins a team, he gets a new mission-specific figure) Night Force is the covert commando strike team led by SAS Captain Eagle from Britain, his team includes Delta Force sgt Hit&Run, German KSK sergeant Quickfire, French 1 RPIM sergeant Talon, Belgian SFG sergeant Sparrowhawk and Canadian JTF 2 sergeant Beaver. Sky Patrol is the unit's elite paratroop pathfinder team. 82nd Airborne veteran Airborne leads the team with 2 Para Sgt Air Wave, 2 REP sgt Altitude, Polish 6th Airborne Brigade Sgt Drop Zone, Italian 9 Para-Assault Regiment Sgt Skydive and Belgian 3 Para-Commando Sgt Static Line. Tiger Force is the Jungle warfare team led by US Army SF Warrant Officer Flint, with his team including USASF Sgt Recondo, SAS sgt Chindit, Gurkha Sgt Kukri, Brazilian 1st Special Forces Sgt Felino and SASR Sgt Dingo. Desert Patrol is the smallest, but no less lethal team: USASF Sgt Dusty leads his team with Sandstorm of the UK SAS, Dune Runner of the SASR and Omani SF sgt Scimitar. Shark Team are the Naval Special Warfare team, led by MCPO Torpedo of the USN SEALs, with Mako of the French Commandos Marines, Barracuda of the SBS, Netherlands Marines Special Forces Sgt Trident, Riptide from JW Formosa of Poland and Manta of the Portuguese Special Actions Detachment. 'Drug Elimination Force' is a cover-name for a Federal special unit attached to Battle Corps, hunting the notorious Head-hunters biker gang and drug-smuggling ring, US Marshall Longarm leads FBI Agent Bullhorn, DEA Agent Bulletproof, ATF agent Mace, NCIS Agent Law and his faithful dog Order and FBI HRT officer Shockwave. Wolf Squad is an elite team who work with GI Joe on other operations, they are led by Sgt Hunter, aka Lonzo Wilkinson, of the USASF, and include Royal Marine Footloose, JW Grom medic Surgeon, Tech-specialist Jammer of the CIA, Korean SF operative Jinx and CBRN specialist Airtight. Marauders is the specialist armour unit of the Battle Corps, including US Army tank commander Steeler, British Royal Tank Regiment driver Heavy Metal, German tank driver Cross Country, Italian Army tank gunner Cover Girl, Swedish tank gunner Ton-Up and French tank commander Rhino. RUIN includes the pyromaniac Melter, the anti-tank specialist Scrapper, Knife-nut psycho Cut-throat, sociopathic assassin Onslaught, sniper Deadeye, officer Overlord, the mercenary Gravedigger and Head-hunters members Buzzer, Ripper, Heartbreaker, Machete, Burnout, Thrasher and the despicable twins Zandar and Zarana. Anyway, I give the G. I. JOE license to the former Hasbro employee who was working on a 6" JOE line before he was laid off and he's now doing his own military theme line
