Well done across a most comprehensive list of characters.

Awesome stuff my man, although I was never a big MASK fan so I'm not familiar with the character but he surely looks sharp!! Beautiful work with the paint as usual and I love the action scene using the Cobra Steel Crusher! Keep them coming!!
PS...any tips on how you always manage to keep that MTF shoulder armor stay in place? Last edited by paokole; 02-12-2021 at 05:28 PM.. |

LOVE that Hondo! I never would've thought of the MTF body for him, but it's a damn near perfect build to use. Paint's spot on too.
I don't know if they have a v2 Hondo helmet, but I know somebody has casts of MASK helmets for sale. I can't for the life of me remember who though. AVACslab? Vortious? Angelforge? Anybody else know who it is? |

Gotta be honest, MASK is some of your better work man! You’re detail on these shows that.
Great work!

Hondo looks awesome! It's a shame Hasbro never created any more modern figures outside of Trakker.

Thanks! These colors were so much fun to pair up together too! Really like the blue I came out with, don’t think I had that type of shade for anyone before so going to have to try that for another guy at some point.
Thanks! Always fun to jump around the board a bit with Joe characters from different eras but then a few video game, movie and other toy-line characters too! Quote:

PS...any tips on how you always manage to keep that MTF shoulder armor stay in place? Always fun to mess with the Steel Crusher, need to get those MASK Jackhammer stickers on this one. Bought an extra specifically for that. Such a cool vehicle. Gotta slice those pegs! I usually turn them into like a dull spike, just slice a tiny bit off each side of the peg, then it usually plugs in nicer for me. Just do a little at a time and keep testing it until it pushes in nicely and holds. For some guys who are “finished,”, I might use the excess green stuff in the inside of the package to give it a little more stickiness too. Quote:
Getting Hurricane & Hondo as a Christmas gift is bad ass! I got it as a hand me down but would have loved to get it brand new as a kid. Was probably so much fun busting that thing out of the box as a kid! Thanks, I appreciate it! Laughed after the paint job when I saw how close it was. Quote:

Anybody else know who it is? Flint_Rocks tells me he saw something he thinks would work well for him so my Hondo will have a Mask as some point. I have a few series 1 masks from Avacslab.....I think. Just haven’t gotten the right bodies to bring them to life yet. Quote:

——— As always, everyone taking time to stop in and leave comments is much appreciated! This figure was a childhood favorite of mine so really cool to see everyone thinks I did him justice and just talking toys in general!

Thanks a lot for the tip bro, I'm even thinking of using a bit of the green stuff on the inside as you mentioned because I really want that armor to stick in place for good
