Bisons are looking good man. Especially the paint game.
Wondering tough, would it look to destro to put these legs on him? https://www.marauderinc.com/product-p/e-mf-ger-0200.htm

That blue Mmmmm Bison is awesome, Awesome, AWESOME! I have thought about doing that character in the past & you set the bar HIGH!
*PS: Maybe the Marauder chest plate/harness would be a nice addition! Last edited by Steel Brigade; 02-04-2021 at 11:27 AM.. |

Haha, well most of my other Street Fighter characters require sculpting so you have a little break before I knock out some more of them. Bison was the easy one.
Thanks! Will do! Just need to figure out what I can make out of the parts I still have. Quote:
Never seen that color scheme on Bison before.....shocker right. I was out of Joes by like 88 or so, but I knew the Street Fighter figures existed and played Street Fighter II on SNES. I really like those colors on him. Doesn't scream M. Bison to me being as I've only seen him in his normal colors, but still a great custom.
That picture of the Bisons standing together gives me a Myles and Maximus Mayhem vibe. Like they are evil twins. I know he had similar colors in some of the crazier editions of the game, not sure if he had this specific one though. I mainly played SF2: Turbo and then had SF IV in more recent years so I’m not the biggest of Street Fighter experts though. Haha, I loved Myles and Maximus growing up! Switchblade and original Myles were two more MASK hand me downs that never made it to me so the formula one car with his brother was the main Myles I had. Quote:
Yeah, I never used the cape on the Retaliatiin Trooper that it came with but it was perfect for Bison so totally worked out! Thanks! Quote:
If you haven't recently, go check out the first post in this thread.
Hit & Run has put in all the hard work of creating an index with pictures of his work. Sooooo much custom goodness in this thread. Impressive to see it all together. One of my favorites on the 'tank for sure! Side note: why is Hit & Run's thread named Orzo's Customs & Kitbashes? Awesome to hear! Appreciate it because when I started posting, wasn’t really sure my 90’s era stuff would be very popular. Haha. Love posting them though because it definitely keeps me motivated to keep going all out with the colors. Haha, Orzo is just my nickname my buddies sometimes call me. With the other “Hit and Run” who posts, I figured this would help keep us from being confused for each other. So Orzo, Hit & Run, whatever anyone wants to call me. Thanks! Haha, yeah, looks cool with the cape on! had so much fun doing all of the layouts for him. So many options for display so I was like, “just show all of them because everyone might have their own preference!” Quote:

Ohh, do you mean the Exo suit piece? I didn’t try that one! Will have to circle back, I always forget about that until I see your thread! Quote:

(Just kidding) Definitely would look cool with the lower German body, looking forward to seeing that if Axon takes a stab at it. I just still have these armored legs that I’m trying to get out of my bins so the two Bison’s were good choices for them. Plus I have Red Shadows built so they’d be giving off the same vibe too. Appreciate all the comments, everyone! Always awesome to see people are into the random later year guys or odd color scheme versions I do. ——— Have to see what else I can do with the parts I have now. Been trying not to place orders until I see what Vietnam looks like and I thin out these bins.

First you tell me that I think it was the Volcano Matt Trakker is your favorite and now Myles from Buzzard is your Myles. You make me sad. LOL!
I'm kidding of course. For me it's Thunderhawk and Switchblade and I'm willing to make an exception for Rhino Matt.

Thanks, appreciate it. Have a bunch of guys that are built but just need paint or finishing touches so a lot is just getting excited to finish them. Then have some Boss Fight and still some Retro collection guys to figure out how I want to use. So plenty of stuff to use, just have to use it. Haha.

And Volcano Matt Trakker is epic! And Buzzard Myles had a badass racing suit! Haha, you’re not gonna like which version of Hondo was my favorite growing up either!

Hahaha, I was the younger brother! That’s why my favorite versions of most characters are ones from the later years, if the original was too cool, a lot of the time it didn’t get passed down to me! And Volcano Matt Trakker is epic! And Buzzard Myles had a badass racing suit! Haha, you’re not gonna like which version of Hondo was my favorite growing up either! Don't you dare say Hurricane over Firecracker.
