I would never, ever buy clothing at Target. Worst quality out there. Even Walmart sells better stuff. Last time I bought a pair or Target jean was like 25 years ago. Wore them twice - and on the third time they wore a hole thru the fabric and ripped out at the seams.

as for buying multiples of these figures... there is something negative to be said about it, no matter what the motivation.
If you buy multiples to sell - you suck as a person. If you buy multiples to trade - there is some justification because you are trying to get what you missed out on or might... but you are still taking part in contributing to the scarcity of these figures. You are possibly causing some other collector to go to ebay, make a trade, or go without. If you buy multiples to help others out, even at cost plus shipping - you are doing somebody a solid... but at the same time taking away the chance for the local collector to get those figures. There is something to be said for people being able to buy these at their own store. And if you are an army builder - well, you are just a little selfish because you want 3-4 and this causes some folks to not get any. the only people that are blameless in this entire fiasco are the folks who buy one for themselves and leave the rest for other collectors

As you should. I'm of the opinion that the one and only time it's wrong to buy multiples is doing so with the intention to scalp them. I understand the desire for a quick buck, but the idea of " charging an entry fee" to a toy line makes me sick. On the other hand, if theyre for you, or your buddies, or to chop up into customs, well, not only do I not see the harm, but I actively encourage it. I may not be able to find any of these myself, but at least some are.

I wonder how late I am to this one - but my Baroness finally turned up today from an independent toy shop in the UK - I was deliberately not looking too much at the reviews - and yes, she is indeed a fine figure, and the side guns on the bike are cool too. Just Supreme CC, SS, FF and 2 Vipers to go...
Am I right in thinking you guys in the US have everything now barring the Troopers and of course FF's and Vipers (not counting Z, Lady J, Flint and the new infantry) ??? |

Yeah, outside of unconfirmed rumors, the only stuff not out here in the US is the Zartan/Cobra Infantry wave and the Flint/Lady Jaye wave. The Target Viper/Firefly wave and earliest shipments of Duke, Roadblock, Scarlett, SE are just hitting right now.

That's why I said just a little bit selfish. I understand it and have done some limited army building before myself. But we do have to acknowledge that buying multiples of these limited figures means that other collectors won't get ANY.

Because you bought one, someone else cannot buy one. Buying even one is a little selfish.
