Agreed, but ZICA was saying that their license to produce Sectaurs figures was expiring and that this was their last shot at getting these figures made. :(

There are a few things that I wonder about with regards to the license holders of some of these properties. How much do they think the property is actually worth? Was anyone else really looking to make Secaturs figures? They seem to have an inflated sense of the license's worth and should be happy that anyone wants to do them. Same thing with Captain Action.

I'm meaning the core CaptainAction buck that I'd think should be free of any licenseholder issues. The Sectaurs variant with the armor is likely proprietary to the licenseholder, sadly.

I find it interesting that this did not fund. The company seemed to earned a bit of goodwill being the first to deliver on the long MIA kicks like Eagle Force or Hell Screamerz then launched a pretty successful Sectaurs line, but couldn’t fund the second wave. Was the total number of backers for Wave 1 so small that any amount of non returners for Wave 2 doomed wave 2. Any theories as to why this failed? I’m sure some might say Kickstarter fatigue, but wave 1 was launched, funded and delivered at the height of Kickstarter fatigue...

Who owns the license? Does anyone know?

For me personally, it's really a case of prioritizing what I'm going to buy. They're nice figures, but can I afford to support every Kickstarter? I'm looking forward to the MTF Vietnam Kickstarter and want to save up for that.
