Dann, I want to get this, but I worry about the joints damaging over time.

Yeah, rubber anything is the worst. I guess you could swap the body out if you wanted like other 1/6 stuff

Weird decision to do it like that. Fabric pants and hoodie, plastic torso between them. |

Hmmm... plastic shirts. Where have I seen this before? Oh yeah, Hasbro did that in the 2000s with their 12 inch line! I wasn't a fan.
I'm a 1:6 scale collector and customizer of ARAH GI Joe figures, and I'm happy to see GI Joe come around again in this scale. But I'm really skeptical of the line after seeing Storm Shadow. I was cautiously optimistic, but to me this only a little better than the Wave 3 Retro line reveal with THAT Duke... |

Doesn't look very high-end to me. At least not yet. Hasbro could've done this years ago, minus maybe the shading. And at about $150 less.

I'll probably wait until a place that doesn't do sales tax and/or free shipping puts it up for preorder.
So you mean free? Hasbro isn't going to do seamless arms. Their 1/6 figures have all been straight plastic from what I can remember of their Marvel line. |
