Red Menace & Red Guard look great! Love the Sagat look for Menace, a SF2 version is in my list since I loved that figure growing up so cool to see the head done so well. Love the Commando style look you gave him, fits right in with your Shadows.
Then that head for the Guard, again, total badass design & build! Loving these two! Those clips work great to hold the knives on his legs too.

I wasn't sure about the knives on the legs, I didn't want the character to be carrying a gun so I tried something a little different, so good to hear you like it. |

If you have that Indiana Jones Chief Temple Guard you should give Red Guard a go, it is a fairly easy custom with a satisfying result. Heat up the Indiana Jones figure and the torso and legs should pull apart quite easily, then you will find the hole in the torso lines up with the peg on the MTF legs. |

Red Dragon, what’s not to love, awesome figure an idea!
Yeah, I might as well have a pop at that chief temple guard as a Shadow (Red Guard), as that figure ain’t much use for anything else, well good for Indiana Jones of course, if I actually collect them lol. Yeah AF I will do him then as Red Guard, well when I go and order MTF red legs of course lol, all I got are blue and that wont do.... Well unless I make him Blue Guard, nahhhh, that’ll mean Red Guard’s twin brother joined Cobra! |

I do want to get some of those PTE life vests for other customs, but with the character I have in mind for Red Rum I don't think he will be too concerned with health and safety so I am going in a different direction with him.
We can call this figure the Hisstank Build A Custom! I have applied some of the recommendations, per Shakka's suggestions he now has a vest and sash to hold his sword, from Gartersnake's ideas I gave him some bling and tattoos. I also changed the legs to give him some boots and moved the bandana to a more jaunty angle. Quote:
Next up is Red Guard. Initially in my mind I had a Cobra Crimson Guard type character for this name but I was playing with some parts in my fodder and this character started coming together.
The Indiana Jones figure comes apart quite easily when you heat it up (using your preferred method) and noticed that the hole in it lined up quite well with the peg on the MTF legs. It is friction tight and the sash helps hold it in place but it works quite well for displaying with little modification needed. The Red Guard were going to be a unit devoted to the protection of Baron Ironblood but is now his personal bodyguard constantly lurking in the background to keep him safe. I really enjoy your thread and you’ve got a lot of great Red Shadows here - but these two really stand out. Last edited by Dod Ear; 12-09-2020 at 10:35 PM.. |

Thanks, with GI Joe and Cobra expanding over the years the Red Shadow's ranks do need filling out to compete, and with these two in particular it is nice to have some more "character" based figures on their side.

I don't have many parts here at the moment with Marauder no longer shipping to the UK (although I do have a large order on the way purchased through a friend). I have still been working on some customs with what I do have and here is my take on Q Force's leader Leviathan:
