That they do, but it's a line wide problem post Wave 1. Largely dull, boring figures. Devoid of life and less appealing than both competing lines and it's own history.
Figures like Duke v24, the comic pack Duke from 25th with the vibrant green pants, go too far in the opposite direction, but there is a nice middle ground that this line is largely now missing. Zartan is very close, but the neckerchief removes the break up of colors that his revealed neck and collarbone did. The material the armor is made of helps a lot. |

I predicted this move by Hasbro about a month ago. Good to see they are doing this. But, I think Scarlett actually looks worse.
https://toynewsi.com/278-37862 The suit is just as bad, if not worse. I will still try to pick one up just to get the new head.

Thanks, I hate it. Both figures are even less eye catching and less 'toyetic'. The only positive I can see is Roadblock's green gloves, but he looks like a bland pile of earth tones, more so than the first one. Nothing stands out, they're just there. The original 80s toys had more colors and life to them. I wouldn't think about these twice if not for the brand.
I get the fandom likes this, their obsession with 'realism', but they don't make good toys. They aren't attractive in the slightest. The 80s toys, something I didn't even grow up with, walk that line of attractive toy and realistic soldier far better than this. |

While I don't like the bling on the wave 1 Scarlett figure, it's not the worst aspect of her figure. The terrible range-of-motion in her elbows is a lager negative aspect to the figure. I think the repaint is interesting but I'm not buying another copy of that figure with the terrible elbows.

Here's high rez images. Both of these have the same item code as the original release so they're not technically a new release. We specifically asked Hasbro back in August if there were any changes coming in the wave 1 reruns and was told there would not be.
Obviously things changed. |

The gold and the patches of blue and red on her don't help, but even if she was a perfectly painted and perfectly articulated figure, she would still be one of the worst figures released.

We're operating under the assumption that the reruns that are suppose to land this month will be these newer versions. We've waiting on Hasbro to confirm that, but I feel confident that is the case. Whenever they give us an answer I'll post it up here.

Thanks! I will follow along here. But I assume that means if we ordered a Scarlett pre-order from you now, the idea is that we'd be getting the new version.
