Thanks. I thought he turned out pretty accurate to the original figure.

Now that I'm starting to finish up some groups I need to go back and "clean up" my first page and post the finished group shot of teams I'm done with like Centurions, Bionic Six, C.O.P.S., M.A.S.K., Bravestarr etc. instead of just having all the update pitures.

Turbo looks great! Love the head and that build works perfectly as an update to the original figure! Those group shots are so cool, congrats on finishing off your COPS line! Always nice to have some closure for a group.

Yeah the head had me a little concerned because when you sand hair off like that sometimes it looks off, but luckily the marauder head wasn't painted just molded so some fine sanding and then some green stuff for the facial hair and boom Turbo. I'm glad to have them done. Now down the rabbit hole of Masters of the Universe for at least a handful of customs. If they turn out ok I may do more. Right now I've got plans for Ram Man, Man at Arms, Stratos, Trap Jaw and Beastman.

Fantastic job sculpting on that MTF head. I’m looking forward to your MOTU customs now.

I appreciate that. This whole project come from my love of the 80s cartoons we all grew up watching. Action figures and those cartoons played so a huge role in my childhood and the one thing I always wanted was for them all to be in the same scale. C.O.P.S., Joes and Visionaries were to me some of the worst offenders....same company, same construction and same articulation but all 3 in different scales. He Man and Thundercats would have made some awesome crossover play as would Centurions, Joes and M.A.S.K. but it was not to be. My project brings me some joy in the fact that I'm finally getting to see them all in the same scale together.

The MOTU will turn out great! Can’t wait! The depth of that rabbit hole is why I limited that collection as best I could. Mainly Skeletor, he man, she ra, hordak and then Sorceress & Mer-Man since those were my favorite two characters. So many great ones with awesome designs that I really had to commit to skipping just about all of them but my true needs.

I haven’t tried removing and then rebuilding parts yet, with some of the guys I have left in the ARAH run and then just some non-Joe’s I’m planning to do, will be something I mess with sooner than later.

Yeah, for an 80’s lineup, need to have at least a few of the major players from MOTU, so I think the plan you have would take care of them nicely.
For me, they were sort of like the Real Ghostbusters line, played with the toys all the time but not sure that I watched the cartoon all that much. Definitely have more connection to the toy lines for those two than I ever did the cartoon. Things like Joe, turtles, MASK & Transformers, I was all in on everything: toys, cartoon, coloring books....haha, whatever they had for those ones I was in for. Edit: oh, for Masters, I did have this like motion comic VHS back in the day. That I watched ALL THE TIME. Haha, I just remember He-Man barely moving in the video but I loved it. I have to find it on YouTube.

I made He-Man followed by Skeletor and had decided that was it for Masters of the Universe.....well I have now gone down that rabbit hole. So the next few customs for the project will be from Masters of the Universe.
Starting with my favorite Stratos and Ram Man. Stratos Ram Man
