Hi,
I recently decided to part ways with my USS Flagg. Was wondering if anyone could help me determine a value for it? I have a toy buyer interested in it, and would like to have a number in mind before I get into talks with him. I understand his offer will be less, but I like to think he's making my sell less painful and he can make some $ too. Happy to share pics if someone can help. |

What condition is it in? Complete? Yes or no on the box

Well man, that's obviously going to be dependent in a number of factors specific to your own Flagg, condition, completeness, etc, but this is what I generally do:

It was a attic find 5 years ago. In the box and complete except the figure. The heat and bugs took their toll, so the box is rough and the sticker sheets and blueprints are all trashed, but there. The toy is slightly yellowed, but not horrible. I bought repro stickers and the kids played with it for about a year before going to storage. Now it needs a home before it becomes brittle. I did sell off the microphone a few years back to make the investment back.

A few broke tabs, but less than say 5 total. One vehicle has broke wheel, but the tab is there so could be repaired.

Good idea on the eBay lookup. Didn't even think of that. Thanks for the link!

Well, you have most of the elusive easily lost or broken pieces namely:
Fan tail deck railing Y pins x 2 Radar dish antennas x 2 Mast cap Deck clips x 16 Elevator support bar Purge valve Gas nozzles x2 Tow hook Biggest problems are broken mast, broken fuel tanker wheel, missing sound system and missing Keel-Haul figure. Hard to tell , but looks like both bulk head doors are intact. In short, it is a VERY, VERY good starting point for restoration. I didn't realize prices had gone up so much on original parts in the almost 10 years since I 100% completed mine. Do not sell your Flagg short.
