That Hollow Point is my favorite. Definite upgrade from the original. The FSS head is the only thing I like about the club version anyway but theJohn Wick head is a good rival for it and everything else about yours makes the club version pale by comparison.

That is a nice Snow Job
Interestingly I purchased 2 white Germans to make a similar Snow Job (and Sgt Dillon from Action Force), the parcel finally arrived this morning and they missed the 2 white Germans out (most frustrating). Pleased to know though that Snow Job will look good when the bodies finally arrive. Ugh, never fun when something gets mis-packed. Good thing is MJ always takes care of it so hopefully you get your figures sooner than later. The White German looks great geared up as-is or with a little paint so I’m sure you’ll love them! Can’t wait to see how your Snow Job and Sgt Dillon come out! I did one as Snow Job and the other just geared up, so will be cool to see some other customs using it since I have a third with no plans for yet. Quote:
Thanks! Plus this one can actually blend in with the snow! Haha. Really love how this one has some bulk without sacrificing possibility. Such a good base figure. Adding some white paint to it really makes it pop so well. Quote:
Thanks for the comments, everyone!

I did come up with more ideas for the blue German body than the white one, but I was thinking of using a white one to make a Winter trooper for my expanded Oktober Guard ranks, perhaps mixing it with some regular Panzer Grenadier parts. Just throwing that out there to give you some ideas, as we both did Big Bens with the WW2 parts your third one might work as the arctic version of him? |

Yeah, Marauder's custom service is the best, they are sorting the issue as we speak. I did also order a fully geared up winter German (which I did receive) to use in my WW2 German display. While I wait for the others to arrive I might use it for one of the two customs I wanted the bodies for (probably Sgt Dillon as I doubt anyone else is going to try that)

Probably get some pics of my blue Germans in sometime this week, I started my first as a homage to something another customizer on here did but then spun all three into a new group so looking forward to taking pics and posting those guys. They work so seamlessly into Cobra so very easy to get momentum using those. Thought about the sky blue shirt Big Ben recently but hadn’t thought about that artic one. That’s a good idea too, Still need to finish my version of the v3 (I think). We were talking about him, you got yours finished but mine sort of stalled when I took a break from customizing for a few weeks. Thanks, I appreciate it! He looks so great with my other Snow Joes, plus the new build gives him a unique look next to everyone else so I love it.

This is one that I had my eye on doing ever since I saw Rob’s awesome combo version of Super Trooper / Rapid Fire. Assumed I would wait to do him until bare arm parts came out but I loved his version so much that I knew he was getting bumped up as soon as I had parts to do him.
https://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-j...-style-22.html Rapid Fire is one of those characters that I don’t remember at all in the store, not even sure if I’ve seen him at toy shows so YoJoe and customs were really my only interaction with him. Once I started putting him together though I really started to enjoy the character, also fun because Super Trooper was the first custom I ever shared on Hisstank so this was a fun chance to see one of my early customs compared to a more recent one who both share similar builds. So while sitting there with the new blue contractor in hand, had the same feeling I had with the yellow one, the paint job on the pants is too nice to really cover it up or paint over it so who can I do that had blue pants? Then I started thinking about Rob’s Rapid Figure and decided to use this as my jumping point. Another pretty easy build, blue contractor, armored vest, WW2 helmet & accessories and then some elbow & knee pads to make him more accurate to the original figure. Then since the head and body skin tones didn’t match, I decided to paint the face also. Rapid Fire I love the comparison pics between the two of them. So funny how different I do things now compared to last April. Then Kuh_Rupht really showing me how much life some paint gives you the Marauder heads really makes this guy stand out compared to my original. Need to add some paint to that one’s face because I didn’t realize how off the skin tones were on him until now. Haha, definitely something I didn’t focus on as much back then. Then the pair of them getting to drop in like a video game:

Rapid Fire came out awesome! So glad you did the paint to really make him a immediately recognizable homage & more importantly have matching skin tones!
