I don’t know if you’re only joking, or if you seriously do not know about this...
WWE has tried to cover for him, because this is embarrassing whenever he does this. A recent 2019 Radio interview of his convinced everybody that there is no plausible way to make excuses for him anymore, so from now on the response is: “No comment”. Many magazine and newspaper articles have covered this story, such as this one: https://www.marinecorpstimes.com/new...-never-served/ |

Sgt. Slaughter is old school and is doing the whole "kayfabe" thing where they never break character I'm pretty sure. It's all but been abandoned by pro wrestlers for damn near 30 years now but a lot of the old guys couldn't let it go and have basically "become" their character. Iron Sheik is a great example of this.
I don't think I'd call this Stolen Valor at this point, it's just the quirks of a wrestler from a time when that was the rule to live by. |

I will get his figure if indeed there is a new one possibly coming from Hasbro. They should invite him to one of those youtube panels showing new action figures... I personally remember more the Sgt from the GI Joe cartoon and figure catalogs than from wrestling...

I totally agree. Whenever I see him live he literally says he tussles with Cobra as if it happened. It's his character and he is proud of what he has given the fans

EDIT: Could have worded that a bit better, actually. (But it's, like, 3 in the morning here, so bugger off.)

That was actually pretty funny. Unless it's true. In which case my condolences
