I think the WHALE is the ideal vehicle for HasLab to try first for Joe.
However, as I've said before in an older thread, the crafty designers could cross-develop a platform that could support Joe and Star Wars. A Pit/Death Star could potentially be developed where you simply change out a few modular parts and decals. I could only imagine the thing would sell crazy units compared to Jabbas Sail barge, the sentinel and the Razor's Crest.

I wouldn't bother with the Sentinel, they can't top the Steel Kaiju. Don't know of anyone that actually has one though.
Steel Kaiju figure The Cobra sentinel isn't something I personally would want and frankly don't understand what all the hoopla is all about when it comes to the Steel Kaju. Don't get me wrong they did a great job, it looks great. I also know story behind the copyright issues but for me it wasn't anything I feel I am missing out on. IMHO there are plenty of other things that could be done before a minor character like that. For instance Cobra Skycrane, Cobra Flying Fortress, the previously undeveloped Cobra Island from the 80s. The Joes have things like the Pit, B.E.T, hell I would even take a Snake Eyes cabin. Not to mention just about anything could get an update like Whale, Night Raven, Flagg, TD and so on. I would make a five dollar bet that the 1st Haslab Gi Joe item is something for Classified to be completely honest though. It makes sense if you think about it. It's the line they're pushing heavily atm, it's in demand and it's a low risk for them to get a larger scale vehicle for us.

A classified vehicle folks would want more than one of makes the most sense. |

Yep I would buy multiples of both the Vamp and Stinger in classified.

Awesome 1/12 VAMP
Cheap option for Hasbro: rework the SDCC helicarrier into a Flagg II (litorral assault carrier) or Cobra helicarrier. Throw in some retro figures, including missing characters. Cheap option 2: classified roboskull fighter retooled from black series tie fighter. Throw in figure or two easily retooled from existing molds - Last edited by lsyd; 10-18-2020 at 10:18 AM.. |

Retro is filler. They could have gone hard like POC if they had interest in 4in. They are still selling POC figures in this line. That's how good POC was. I'll say this though, I'm surprised they haven't sold POC vipers in the retro line. Probably a top 10 figure that hasbro has ever made. They could easily sell another 20k of those. Im not even buying 4in right now and I'd buy 20.

Even better, they ought to release multipacks, like a three pack with 2 troopers and an officer, or a Viper/trooper 2-pack. A damned goldmine right there.

I do not collect 6” Joes so I would not support a Haslab G.I. Joe project in that scale. I may be in the minority but what attracted me to the G.I. Joes back in the 80’s were the vehicles. So I am to deep invested into 1/18 to start collecting 1/12. I would love anything that Haslab puts out in the G.I. Joe in the 1/18 scale. However, thinking something that may have a wide appeal would be a G.I. Joe Space Shuttle. 2021 would be the 40th anniversary of the first orbital flight and a G.I. Joe Columbia celebrating the 40 years would have a wide appeal.
