So now is it going to be TWO lines? 3.75 o-ring and 1:18 ME? That update's a little confusing. Love the look of the wave 2 trooper.

It is confusing, as from what I remember Zica and Fresh Monkey Fiction where working on this line together, and then split off? Zica kept the original molds and some of them were used for Action People or Adventure Force with Captain Action, and the newer molds that were upsized were kept by Fresh Monkey to make Eagle Force. Then Zica recently started showing some molds/mock ups for o-ring Eagle Force, but also alluded to them using some names and figures in a new line, seeming to imply it isn't just Eagle Force, but maybe it is. Not sure why this makes sense to have two Eagle Force lines, right now I like the EF Returns 4" modern.

Aren’t we on 4 years now waiting for these? I gave my pledge in 2016

Yep, longest wait I've ever had for a Kickstarter. But there's good reason and a helluva story behind it. Question is, after all this time was it worth it all? The near finished samples shown in the update are looking good, and there currently still is a bit of a vacuum for good 1:18 neo Joes. So as long as the rough patch is behind them--considering the reasons I bet it is--I think they'll still find their place. But this 3.75 news thing, not sure what to make of it. Almost seems like they back-pedaled to before they were upscaled. If it's truly two separate companies doing this now, it could dilute the brand before it even gets established.

Those Eagle Force cardbacks look splendid. Nice visual throwback to the 80's. They feel like the original ARAH cardbacks. I like these way better than the Retro line of GI Joe figures. These Eagle Force cardbacks remind me of childhood visits to toy stores that are now long gone...
I am really tempted to buy additional figures once they become available, just to keep carded. |

They're a direct callback to the original Mego line. Which predated Joe ARAH if just by a little.
