They look great! I agree you shouldn’t sell. I cleaned out a bunch of my comics during covid, but I couldn’t get get of GI Joe. Now I’ve actuually started rereading them, and for the most part they hold up really well.
Put me on the list of interested buyers if you do decide to sell though! |

Thanks guys! It was done by a binding place called Raymer which is sadly no longer around. It’s a shame, as I had matching Transformers Dies made which I was told were mine, then when the bindery was sold to a new inferior place years ago & I wanted to use it they flat out refused. I don’t believe in looking back negatively though, it’s just a shame the Joe / Transformers Dies are no longer available to use.
I actually bought this series from someone fully made like this, I remember paying $1200 total last time but I’ve sadly realised I need the money now, & I know I won’t get near that but if I got a fair offer for them I’d love for them to go to someone who could appreciate them more than me. It’s a shame they’ve been up in my attic for 7-8 years gathering dust in a box, as these comics are all c9+ and in great shape for their age |

I'll post pics soon, but wanted to publicly thanks cynw--I'd been thinking about binding my Marvel Joe comics, and with him deciding to get rid of him, we worked out a deal. The books are gorgeous (better condition than my unbound issues) and he was a joy to work with.
I've got my Action Force mags bound already, so now I think I'll bind European Missions and then *probably* call it good. I hear IDW will be continuing their GI Joe complete collection hardcovers very soon (ha ha, that's a joke! I'll believe it when I see it!). |

I'm still working on mine using the IDW trade paperbacks. I'm typing up the tables of contents which is taking...a while.
After that I have to get a book scanning company to scan the action figure pack issues (Silence Between Borders, etc.) and get the PDFs printed out in order to get rid of ads, odd page sizes, etc. If I'd thought this through, I might have just bought the original issues of ARAH (1-155), Special Missions, Yearbook, etc. and bound the individual issues. I already have 155.5 on, so I could have picked it up with those. It would have been significantly easier, but it also would have taken up an enormous amount of shelf space and my graphic novel collection is already pretty out of control. With the trades, I'm saving a huge amount of space. Last edited by nightwrite; 09-02-2020 at 10:18 PM.. |

A few pics of the new books—I’m very happy with them, and have made my way through Special Missions (which was even better than I remember!).
Now I have to figure out what to do with my floppies and tpbs...prob sell on eBay, but it’s tough to let them go! |

Here is my first bind. This is all the Hasbro figure pack comics that don't fit into ARAH continuity, Joe related movie comics(they were given out around the time of the movie as far as I can tell) and Fun Publication convention comics.
