Not sure if this counts a a "fix" or not, but I just picked up Gung Ho tonight and it was nearly impossible to get the grenade launcher in his hands. So, I used a hobby knife to cut all the extra bits off between the handle and buttstock. Much improved!

I'm serious. Get the cheap stuff from Walmart that's 5 in a pack. put a dab into the loose joint, but here's the IMPORTANT part: after you put that in, keep moving the joint to work the glue in, but then keep moving it every few seconds for about a minute. Do NOT let the glue set idle! Or else you'd permanently fixed your loose joint problem. But if you do it right, the glue would form and adhere to the plastic inside after it dries, causing extra friction therefore tightening the joint. This always work for me. Did you try heating up the hand to soften the grip so he can grip the grenade launcher before cutting down the grenade launcher? Sometimes the factory mold are set tighter, but I find G.I.Joe (Hasbro in general) use softer plastic for their hands so with a little heat, you can open up the grip. I painted Duke's shin guards...I replaced all his gold as a whole. It's the gold that really looks out of place on a soldier. I replaced all the gold on my Duke and Roadblock and I think as a whole they looked much better.

I didn't have to remove anything. Just painted it on him. You can see Roadblock's shins and knee pad in the background going from gold to black as the last picture of Duke was taken after I painted Roadblock.

Biggest issue with the Classified line is no doubt the weapons! There's another thread devoted to finding new guns for the figures, so I won't labor the point. I'm not against the weapons they come with, I'm okay with a little sci-fi, but just not in plain ugly plastic color, or gold! So first I did was to repaint Beach Head and Duke's guns.

I know everyone that didn't have the exclusive Snake Eyes is looking for a replacement Uzi. Personally I really don't see Snake Eyes still using a Uzi...even the Israelis don't use Uzi anymore! No one does other than third world armies and terrorists. Why would Snake Eyes?!? I don't hate the guns he came with, just the big hole in the middle. So I filled it with model putty and repainted it matte black. Both the sub-machine gun and pistol.

Yeah, I filled the holes in SE's guns too, but then managed to get the exclusive one so he uses the Uzi now.
I agree with the weapons. The color choices ruin it. However, I don't like painting weapons, especially where the figures hold them cause the paint will chip off but the more muted colors you gave to your Beachhead and Duke look really good.
