I have a near complete MOTUC/grayskull collection as it is. I doubt I'd start all over again after collecting for 12 years. If the new figures won't clash on the shelf with the classic figures I wouldn't object to picking up any characters or versions of characters that I don't own, but I'd cherry pick at best. Nice to know they are doing something for the big spenders. Origins doesn't really do it for me as an adult collector.

Same here. I feel like the Classics figures are near perfect. And I still have all my original 80s figures. Plus, I'm usually not super picky about sculpts. But I really don't like the head sculpts for He-Man and Skeletor in Origins. I did notice the battle armor versions coming out next year, have alternate, "old school" looking heads. But, the fact that the first waves are near impossible to find online and in stores makes it easy to steer clear of Origins too.

I have no interest in Origins (although I did preorder Orko because I think he might look better than the MOTUC version), but it will be widely available next year. I wouldn't worry too much about not finding it at Walmart right now.
I'm interested in Masterverse, but I'm not committed to collecting it. It depends on how it looks and scales with MOTUC.

Well my son may have gotten them last but between 3 walmart stores today I managed to get him everyone except skeletor. (Just wave 1) he told me that wave 2 has been spotted, I think the scalpers here on the coast are grabbing everything, I was lucky as the last walmart we went to was late putting out toys and like I said only one I didn't get my son was skeletor.

Are these just like the 80s figures besides maybe better paint jobs?

Origins figures have more points of articulation and slightly more detailed sculpts.

Also, it's nice to see you outside of your shill thread. lol ;) I spotted these earlier this week and it was sorta disappointing. Not the product--they look terrific--but the quantities available. Just a smattering of figures hanging forlornly on a couple of pegs and kicked about on the shelf...it's pathetic. That cool box art deserves to be represented en masse. Last time I saw He-man in stores was back in the naughties when TRU carried that retro re-release stuff. Before that, it was as a kid staring in awe at the originals. In both instances, the product was plentiful. Toy aisles these days though, they're just heartbreaking.
