Anyone buy/collect these? I'm curious how they compare with Marvel Legends, Marvel Diamond Select, and Hot Toys, etc. How is the quality?
Also, it's safe to assume the one's for sale for $27 on Ebay from China are knockoffs, yeah?

The one thing I do know is that those Chinese versions are KOs, though they seem to review well enough that I've considered some of them anyway. My main concern is the durability- if the genuine articles are fragile, I'd imagine the KOs will be even more so. Which line are you looking at? Nice avatar, by the way- I almost didn't realize it was you.

I'm going to be of little help myself, but figured I'd second interest, I've been eyeballing a lot of their Nintendo and Street Fighter based figures for some time.

They also have some cool Iron Man ones also.

They run smaller than Marvel Legends, so if you plan on displaying alongside them they will look undersized. $27 from China is definitely a ko, so stay away from that as the plastic quality and paint apps are subpar.

I have been getting Star Wars ones. Compared to Black Series and marvel Legends, these are fabulously detailed. They are a premium figure so they are delicate with a lot of moving parts and they actually look like the characters are actors unlike a lot of black series ones. Most run slightly shorter than the BS counterparts depending on the character. This is the Han Solo I have and I got it because it actually looks like Harrison Ford. The exposed ball joints could turn off some collectors but I’m ok with it. Figuarts are a light year ahead of Hasbro figures and slightly behind Hot Toys. Sideshow is on a league of their own and I don’t compare anything to them but I also don’t collect $400 figures because I have boys and cats.

Personally I have a couple of Mafex figures and are quite happy with them. I have a Boba Fett and an Iron Spider. Boba Fett actually scales decently. The Iron Spider is a little small, but he's a shorter character than the rest of the Avengers, so he kind of works. The magnetic hands and feet gimmick is kind of neat. You can pose him like he's scaling a wall. |

Beach you would definitely regret it. Who knows what it would look like. On eBay if is says “birthday gift” in the title it’s a dead giveaway that it’s a cheap fake. They prey on ppl looking for gifts that way.
