Mega Viper is very cool, and the neon colors are amazingly sharp. The Mega Monsters are just absolutely fantastic. I remember not being a big fan of them as a kid, just because they were such a departure from the regular G.I. Joe body. Had they put out figures like the ones you made, I would've loved them. Also, the builds are just pure genius.
Appreciate that, these parts and designs are so different than anything else I’ve done so far so it’s just been such an incredibly fun project. Then the paint is crazy on all of them too so that pushed it up to another level for me! Thanks! Haha, never would have expected to be painting mantis & vampire heads for my Joe collection! As always, appreciate the comments, everyone!

Since making the original two Mega Monsters was such a fun project, there are more days in a week than members of this original team and I had extra monster parts......I decided it would be fun to add my own Mega Monster to the team.
So we have Monstro-Viper who I look at as the air & land specialist, Bio-Viper who takes on the Joe divers in the open water......but we could use a monster that Deep Six has to deal with on the ocean floor. Enter our final Mega-Monster: Abyss-Viper. The cobra deep sea specialist. Armed with a copper claw that Mindbender cooked up and his bioluminescent eyes & tentacles, Abyss-Viper can handle Joes on land or all the way to the deepest, darkest depths of the ocean. So another Boss Fight build starting with the tan orc blank, this one is accented with parts from another blind box that included squid & lobster type parts. Since he was a blank slate and I was trying to think of a 90’s color scheme, I thought, what was more nineties than neon colors & a Charlotte Hornets Starter Jacket?! So with that in mind, I started working. Some trial and error to get the design both 90’s but also menacing but I’m really excited with the finished product. Especially how slimy his head & feet came out! To top things off at the end, I gave him a design on his pants that resembled the blue camo gear I always remember seeing growing up in the 90’s. So since this is getting lengthy, the first Orzo Original in the thread: Abyss-Viper Why give him a copper claw replacement if you don’t teach him how to shoot a gun? Mindbender, stop forcing the Viper squad to upset these Monsters!: My complete batch of Mega Monsters: And with their “father”: Then just a large version of this shot because I loved it:

Looks good! Although...what about a space monster?
And Mindbender is just being fashion-conscious; he wants to be the only guy in purple around Cobra's halls, so the 90s Vipers gotta go! Sea Slug should be looking over his shoulder... |

I don’t give a damn, my opinion , you make solid customs.
But your monsters builds blow them away. You are killing it with these guys my man. KEEP. IT. UP. Becuase what I’m seeing is you are pushing yourself . Against your last builds. And that my friend, makes you better. Which we are all seeing.

I thought about space, which is why I grabbed the copper paint for his armor, thought it had the sci-if vibe. I’m just not positive if I’m gonna try to tackle the Lunartix Empire or not. They were an easy pass before I took on the Mega Monsters but this project was so fun that if I see parts that work, I’ll do the three aliens too. So short answer, I was trying to keep him on Earth. Haha. Haha, that’s why else I picked the lavender for Abyss’ skin color. Since Mindbender is the one brewing these guys up, feels like he’d throw a homage to his favorite color in there. He’s burning through these new Vipers though! Quote:

Wow—I’ve been missing out! Love your monsters, especially Bio and Monstro! Not sure about the pipe cleaners, but it’s proof positive you’re thinking outside the box, and I can appreciate that. I’ve been too undecided on how to tackle these guys, myself. Keep inspiring us!
