But I know Walmart wants big skin in the toy game, so they might be playing some ball to get these.

Can't match figures to card art. FAIL.
Whole shebang will clog Wally World's clearance aisle by fall. (Not really) |

It's the same POC SE figure, same accessories and all. Also had re-release in 50th line. Only difference between the two was the Joe paint apps. The base buck was also available in the Retaliation 3 pack but not all same accessories and different webgear.

For whatever reason, the Retro isn't coming with the V1 head.

Robotkingdom has them all but is only selling figures by the case of 6 (2 of each). The shipping is a lot but if you’re ordering the entire line vs a single item it may it may worthwhile vs scalping prices for all 5 items. I can attest that the few times I have used them the items arrived mint as hell in boxes lined with custom cut styrofoam boards to keep the box mint.
I love the art on the vehicle boxes - looks great. I'm an opener though so the box art is a minimal feature for me but aesthetically it really does look great. |

You know the real winners here? The folks at Boss Fight Studios that originally designed these figures that have now seen TWO re-releases.

Ultimately we've just seen the latest continuation/reincarnation of the same 25th line that started in 2007 and evolved through several incarnations until it ended in 50th at retail and finally went into a full hiatus when the Club shut down.
What the line looks like so far is very similar to the relaunch of Star Wars TVC. This appears to be a much smaller line with smaller waves, released further apart. Much of the line will be rereleases and repaints of previous figures in the line. Both lines have some new sculpts of previously released characters. It remains to be seen whether this new line will give us never-before-made characters as the current TVC line does. But it's fair to say Star Wars has a lot more opportunity to do that than Joe given all the new media for the brand. Ultimately, the current TVC line has its fair share of critics that say the line does not live up to its glory days by not releasing enough characters and focusing too much on rereleases/repaints. Looks like this line is setting itself up for the same criticism. |

While I am excited to see that the smaller joes are coming back, I am a little sad that the vehicles have not been modernized. Looks like these are just repo of the original molds. I do appreciate that the costs are very reasonable, just expecting a lttle more on the vehicles.
