Correct. Just the soldier though. The officer had impressively accurate plain legs with the little square on the left thigh where the dagger should have been. I was an impressively accurate Officer and really wish we had gotten that one in the 50th three pack instead. Off the top of my head I think the shin guard legs on the soldier came from the DVD pack Cobra parachute trooper but I’d have to go check. It’s been like 12 years. Jesus, it’s been 12 years. SMH

The figures from that set were just weird choices. Ultimates with altered paint apps would have been ideal for what I wanted. As it is, I was underwhelmed but I kept one officer just to get my hands on the torso with the silver sigil. I swapped in POC trooper legs and 25th officer web gear and called it a day. I sold everything else.
The CC was just trash IMO, and that was supposed to be the big draw for the set. The crappy 25th parts did not meld well with the newer parts. Just Mickey Mouse the Retaliation ultimate CC for Pete's sake!

The MCC figure builds was one of the few times that I didn't agree with Bobby Vala's work. One of the trooper's legs couldn't straighten the knees. The forearms on the CO and CT were wonky too. I understand what he was going fore, but he should have stuck with the entire POC/30th/50th builds for the CO and CT. He could have made the CT black so you could tell it was different from the carded CT's.
He should have went with the full Ult. CC build with the red stripe down the leg and the MM emblem. I would have gotten more of them for sure.

Don’t forget, 3DJoes confirmed he had been working on Vintage HD card art restorations with Hasbro for awhile now. Don’t be surprised to get Vintage accurate card art on the retro line.
