It was kind of assumed by the price that these would be 1:18 scale, but it'snice that we now know that's a guarantee. I'd prefer modern era sculpts, but I will probably grab a few if they're o-ring.
The only real concern left now is if they're some crappy, new sculpting with less articulation.

Are you referring to the 3 3/4" Black Series of classic cards? Yes, THAT line is awesome. I'm thinking we might be looking at something like this current 'retro' line that Star Wars has out. The horrid old-school molds on fake 'aged' cards - with a huge retro sticker on the front. THOSE are not good.

NEW SCULPT 3 3/4" figures - basically re-sculpting the original figures with added detail of today's technology... but in O-Ring fashion. THAT could be really cool. And it would be one of the few things Hasbro has not done.

Now, I could do w/o those lame, over-sized stickers.

It is nuts that these have been manufactured, shipped, and have now arrived in Canada and we haven't seen pictures leaked from China or Vietnam or whatever. The 6" joes leaked right away!

It makes me wonder why these were so damn secretive. Either they went through great lengths to keep it covered up or nobody gave a fuck compared to the 6 inch and other stuff that we've seen pics of.

Maybe they were originally planning to show these at SDCC with a big movie push? It is logical but with Hasbro you never know. It could be pure stupidity.

By using the word "retro" I assume these will either be 25th on onward figs in retro packaging or actual o-ring Joes. Of those two I prefer the latter especially if they try and repackage any of the early 25th Joes. Those figs just haven't aged well.
