I'd be fine with 50th figures on vintage cardbacks.

I of course can't speak for Dunedain, but I assumed he meant these:
https://hasbropulse.com/collections/...age-collection and not these: https://shop.hasbro.com/en-us/produc...2-345A66B76906 As much as I want o-ring, I'd settle for "vintage collection" style as well. But yeah, no ReAction. That works for things like Terminator, Evil Dead, Street Fighter II, etc. but I'd be mighty disappointed to see Joe handled that way. |

In all seriousness, I hope these are o-ring, pre-1985 figures. I think they will be. I'm a vintage fan, but I was born in '81, so I didn't start getting Joes until '85. I was the oldest of my friends, so none of us had V1 Duke, V1 Roadblock, Scarlett, etc. I missed out. By the time I started finding many of the V1 classics in garage sales and flea markets, there were broken crotches and/or cracked elbows. I have acquired most of the pre-'85 figures, but they are getting so brittle...I'm afraid to even display some of them. And forget about letting my son play with them. Some figures have had very good repaint/re-releases, but for example, Duke didn't even finish it's original run with the correct arms and waist. O-ring Duke repaints have ALWAYS been lacking (wrong arms, hair color, crappy colors). Once, just once, I'd like a V1 Duke, complete, "correct", that can stand up to rough play. And Duke is just one example. I never saw, say, Cover Girl or Flash in stores, and they never got re-releases.

I’m placing my bets on 6 inch Retro styled figures. The Retro Marvel Legends are not exact replicas of the early 90’s. The packaging and colors were 90s style but the figures themselves were standard 6 inch Marvel Legends. You guys are getting worked up only to be disappointed. I could be wrong though.
