She's actually recovering pretty well. She's taking her pain meds and muscle relaxers. She can get up and walk, with caution though. She's only felt a little pain a couple times but nothing bad or unbearable. The only complaint she has really is the patch they put behind her left ear to prevent nausea, it's just causing her mouth to be a little dry. She's been eating ice chips and just ate pasta with alfredo sauce. She's definitely a happy camper is surprised that she actually did the tummy tuck. She has to concentrate a little if she needs to pee. I moved my recliner into our bedroom because she wanted to stay close to the bathroom and not have to walk too far.

And actually it's the pain meds and muscle relaxers that the doctor wanted her to start taking right away. They didn't want her to wait for the original pain medication from the surgery to wear off. And what really helps is that we have a registered nurse right next door on top of the other nurse assigned by her doctor that comes by. Our RN neighbor has a son that's special needs so they have tons of medical equipment and supplies that they are letting us use, like a wheelchair, walker, extra binders for her waist, bandages and tape, and anything else we may need. |

I'm definitely watching her. She's taking Tramadol for pain and Cyclobenzaprine for the muscle relaxer. I can see it's started to sedate her a little. The major concern about the interaction between these two meds is seizures, but if you've had seizures before. But hopefully it won't cause any issues. I have clothes laid out in case I need to do anything drastic like rush her to the hospital in the middle of the night.

Now I know why they gave her both.

Thank you Ax. Yeah, so far she's still doing good. Just a little discomfort in her abs now that her abs are back in place. She's very energetic, she's been wanting to get up and walk around the house. So I'm having to slow her down so she doesn't fuck nothing up.

Sounds like you’ve got a pretty good setup. This might be too personal, but how your babies Delivered? Mine were all Caesarian, and so my wife’s abs had to be heavily repaired (the doc seemed surprised at how much they had separated). And I wonder how that may have played into her recovery (versus “traditional” birth).
