My guess is the torso underneath would be unusable without sculpt work, and you can probably put the jacket on other figures, but it’ll probably look odd unless the figure is very thin.

Yeah, it was a goal of theirs to make the figure look normal (not overly bulky like jacketed figures tend to look) when the jacket was on. They showed sketches during the KS that appeared to be sculpted-on jackets with a separate "skirt" piece for the coat bottom to go around the waist. Many of us got a bit concerned about that and there was talk of how to accomplish the jacketed look best. Someone (a fellow 'Tanker, I believe) suggested a minimal/thinned-down torso that only has real sculpt work on the exposed triangular area from the neck to the navel-ish area so that the jacket could close tightly down over the body about as thick as one that was sculpted on, but without actually having it sculpted on and without having to have a separate rubbery "skirt" piece. I'm glad they chose this approach over their initial sketches...very glad indeed.
Now, with that said, there are separate torsos with a complete dress shirt sculpt that can be used if a jacket-less look is desired. And the KS rewards are supposed to include a separate dress-shirt torso piece, so if you pledged for these and are concerned that the torso won't be usable, remember that you will get both styles of torso. People wanting an open jacket look will probably have a bit of a struggle, but my first idea would be to use the back of a jacketed torso and the front of a jacket-less torso. Unless the interior torso construction is wildly different it should be a workable 'bash.

The torso underneath the jacket is designed specifically to accommodate the jacket overlay. There’s no detail underneath it. In fact there’s a rectangular peg hole in the torso that the jacket plugs into when it closes over. John opened up the jacket a little to show me when I asked about it, but I didn’t get a super close look, nor did I dare ask to handle it.

Marauder Task Force Kickstarter Release Date Update
Posted by Marauder GR (Creator) Backer3x For backers only Hey Taskers! We hope you all had a GREAT Summer! We spent a large amount of our summer at the Factory making adjustments and spending time dealing with production issues on the upcoming Marauder Task Force Kickstarter items. Not to mention, countless hours on conference calls with the factory, reviewing every feature and specific detail of the numerous upcoming products. With our original MTF figure project and our MTF Val project, we were dealing with only 1 figure project per release. This aggressive project is 5 (FIVE) all new figure tooling projects and 10 all new color options of current items...so it has been a challenge. Our original goal was to ship the new MTF figure color versions, K9 dogs, Exo Suits & Contract Ops figures by the end of September and the Agency Ops Male figures & Agency Ops female Valkyries figures by the end of December. After several recent working conversations with the factory, we have confirmed that we won't have all the new MTF items ready to ship by the end of September. We are looking at a possible late October ship, with an outside chance of a November ship. We are making arrangements to be at the factory to oversee production. The bright side to this news is the Agency Ops male & female figures, which were planned to ship by themselves at the end of December, will now ship at the SAME earlier time as the other Kickstarter items. While any delay is unwelcome, sometimes there are situations beyond your control. As a bonus, we will add a "surprise" item to each package as thank you for you patience. Will keep you all updated as the production unfolds and during our upcoming time at the factory. Thanks again for your support! MJ & the MGR Crew |

Once Agency Ops comes out, the biggest hole is going to be the lack of skirt legs to go with the suits.
I'm going to get them no matter what, but I'd prefer my business suit Vals not look like certain pant-suited politicians.

I got the battle hatchet and sheath with my last MGR order. The hatchet is cast all white and the sheath is that same tan color as the knit hat, bandana and head band. It's pretty cool, but I think the hole the handle slides into is a little tight. <let the puns begin LOL>
