Imagine that. Ten years ago we were still whining about the demise of the o-ring. Things would never be the same!

Oh the glory days...jeez you look at the product during the 25th run etc was pretty impressive. 300 plus figures is a nice little 10 year run!

I was thinking no oring, I'm out. But the first time I held one of those 5 packs I couldn't put it down.

That's what got me back into collecting GI Joe. Seeing that awesome, and still a nice looking figure even by today's standards, Snake Eyes...

I know the 25th Anniversary stuff is not perfect and the molds and parts are dated, but it remains one of my favorite eras of Joe collecting.

It was a glorious time, and got me back into Joe collecting, aside from a few Valor vs Venom and 90's TRU things I had. It was great to walk into Walmart and find pegs stocked with Firefly, Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, Zartan, Destro and Major Bludd again.

I nearly cried when I saw this poster! I was 7 and my little brother 5 when ARAH hit the shelves. My oldest son was 7 and my youngest son was 5 when the 25th started. It was the strangest feeling seeing history repeat! What an awesome opportunity to live my childhood twice with my two little buddies! They are now 17 and just turned 16. My oldest and I signed his paperwork with the Army last week. Crazy!
