Fair amount of Joe tooling here, so I'm posting 'em up. I did a fair amount of modification to the swords to make at least a little accurate as far as dragon heads and such. Hopefully that comes through in the pics.

Nice use of the comic pack Storm Shadow Katanas.

Those are actually Budo's katanas. I transplanted the pommel from the SS katana, as it shared more of the big-nosed open mouth dragon look of Connor's sword. For Duncan's, I transplanted the pommel from an MU Valkyrie sword. Kurgan's is a DC Multiverse Azreal blade with an extended hilt and hilt spikes fashioned from an MU Grim Reaper headdress. I want to extend the blade, but I'm afraid I'll jack it up.

I HATE the trench coat! Especially since there are good options available out there... but everything else is EXCELLENT!

What are they? If you know a better full sleeved soft goods trench, let me know. I didn't want to go with a sleeveless piece, because this way the coat comes off, and he can go with the leather jacket only look, as well.

I think they look just fine, I used a Star Wars Darth Maul cloak Ironicly on my Snake Eyes and it takes it up a notch, for what it's worth...there are options in other verses.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding something. Duncan's trench is from the Sgt. Savage stormtrooper, and Connor's is from the mk I Endor Han Solo, before they revised it with the camo pattern. While I agree it kind of sucks, I don't know what other options exist in 3.75 scale unless I want to revise him with coat sleeves and make the trench non-removable.
As it stands, I can take that trench off, and he has the leather jacket look, which gives me two options as far as his movie looks go. Am I missing something? |
