OK, thanks. I thought that might be the case but I totally couldn't remember if that had really happened or even recall which series it was in. Man, IDW has killed off a lot of characters in their continuity.

i haven't been able to pick-up arah 233 and it's killing me. i've googled for over thirty minutes and cannot find one review or summary concerning this book, just solicitations and previews. everything is about revolution-which is fine but some of us DO still love ARAH and want to find something on the 'net discussing it. anyone, pick one up and willing to dish some spoilers?
thanks!

GOT IT! LOVED IT! DIDN'T LIKE THE EYEBALL EXPLANATION IN THE LETTER COLUMN. sorry, caps lock- sure, i wasn't in love with the eyeball subplot anymore than i have been concerning revanche but they both deserve an explanation, something brief but big, and then a double page explosion bringing the subplot to a proper close. just consistently leaving big arcs hanging in the air - never to be answered is what killed x-files. carter brought up new elements to his conspiracy mythology but then started introducing religion, super soldiers, colonization, etc. without ever following ANY of it without even a sense of an ending or closure.

Ummm... not to be mean, but - yeah - that was understood from the beginning...
Just so there's no confusion: Snake-Eyes (the original) is dead in the Hama continuity; Storm Shadow (the male) is dead in the new IDW "Revolution" Universe... Last edited by seaneley; 10-29-2016 at 02:33 AM.. |

Oh goodness, I finally see where we crossed lines! When you referred to the new female character NOT being a female SS, I thought you and the other guy were referring to Dawn. You meant the chick on the cover of the JAN IDW cover. I was obviously confused by your statement about SE killing SS with only the context of the original post...but surrounded by ARAH posts. We're on the same page now! *although I didn't know SE will be killing SS in the Revolution title. Nothing like that has happened in the current issue #3. Did you just drop a huge spoiler? ;)

i am trying to stay caught up on this REVOLUTION EVENT but am having trouble as i know very little about micronauts , action man, or m.a.s.k. my g.i. joe comic REMAINS larry hama's classic arah but i love the idw collection of transformers more than even tf-uk. the problem is will that collection of oversized hardcovers reprint the in-between numbers like REVOLUTION ACTION MAN ONE_SHOT or just the five revolution issues (which will make little sense)? i read/collect idw's transformers collection only through the over-sized hardcovers which are currently on phase two:volume four-which already is very far behind. so, i hope they collect all the material in those collections. as for hama's arah, i buy every monthly issue as i have done since 1982. no joe revamp will ever knock arah off the top of my pile.
