And that's before they mismanage shipping of the product to Con. Once they realize they didn't plan shipping appropriately, then they will have the product shipped in by air freight and expect us to pay the additional costs.

My wife is taking my daughter to the American Girl doll store in Denver, while my son and I hit the Con. We are then leaving SUN to head to SD to see Mt. Rushmore before heading home to MI. So there's that. Plan it right to get the Mrs. down there! ;)

FunPub's G.I. Joe vs Cobra issue #8 features on the last interior page an annual advertisement and clue for the upcoming Convention. This year, it depicts the often used Baroness image in the bottom right corner, but instead of a Tiger Stripe pattern background, it has been replaced with a open blue sky with a few clouds. I also noticed that the advertisement mentions the chance to meet G.I. Joe voice actors and famed writer Larry Hama! So, now you know... |

I can't remember all of the different members on the 'Tank so far that have guessed that the Sky Patrol will be the featured sub-team in this year's box set, but it would appear that all of them are correct.

Evidently, Con registration isn't going live today. Here's the latest email from Fun Pub:
"Hello Members! Just so you can stop checking your email, registration is not today. Watch for more information tomorrow. Thanks for your support and see you in Louisville! Brian" I'm never been a Transformer's Club member, so I have no idea why I received this update. It seems like the TF Club is having some of the same issues with delays as we have had for the last several years though. It amazes me that Fun Pub still can't get registration going and they can't even send emails out to the correct members. Oh, Fun Pub, you and your silly shenanigans. |

I received the same TF Club Email even though I'm only a Joe Club Member.
Unfortunately this is simply more of the same from Fun Pub. They can't seem to get the Technical side right. Nice product, nice folks at Con, etc. But I think that if they lose the license as rumored this is why. It is their own doing. Imagine what could have been had they admitted the severity of the issues years ago and maybe even sought help/advice from Hasbro. Looks like their window is closing.
