If Lanard ever transitions all their figures to the style of construction used on their new females, I'd probably quit Joe all together. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Lanards t crotch figures too, I think for $2, they're a damn good value. I even like the new cartoonish 5 inch figures they have. Probably gonna buy all of em. Really fun stuff they're coming out with.

The amount of new product they're debuting seems to be more than normal. Also, it also says only at Walmart. I wonder if Walmart is going to devote more shelf space to them for the upcoming holiday season. Maybe they've made some kind of deal. Dollar General used to carry corps but they quit a couple months back.

I really have to hand it to lanard, they have kept costs down by not spending the money on advertising, they have slowly improved on the sculpts/paint apps. Say what you will, but they are at retail, again, and again. and now in 3 sizes at once! Unreal! The new 12 inch assortment 4 pack of Corps Elite vs. Curse goes by the same dynamic as some of the 3 packs, you get one 12 inch with removable wardrobe, then the others are just limited statues like marvels titan assortment, but that 1 has full movement like the 2000 series did way back when Lanard first brought out Ultra Corps. And the new Sigma-ish figures make me miss sigma 6....I have to say my son really was the unbiased one, he seen them and wanted all of the new packs, when I asked him why he said 1. it has girls in it so his sister can play with him, and 2. he said the packaging made them seem important.......so we as children of the 60's-90's laugh all we want at the fact they are not joes, but they are here at retail, reasonably priced, and in good quantity. And since most of my time in the toy dept is with my children, my son's opinion is a loud statement to how much lanard has improved.
ALL DAY. 1988 or 89. I walk into Toys R US alone and the action figure aisle is loaded with Tiger Force GI Joe figures. $3 each? Give or take a quarter. I bought a figure with my own money after spending much time examining the awesome packaging. If Lanards The CORPS! figures duplicates that feeling for some kid today then i want nothing but success for Lanard. Bring on the new CORPS! and load the aisles with them and their vehicles. Quote:

I've been saying this for a while myself. If they gave the CORPS! non t crotch hips i'd be all in. |

The rumor some time back was that Walmart owns a stake in Lanard. @20% was the # thrown around. I don't know if that is true . |

But then if these are Walmart exclusive, does this mean we wont see them abroad?
I really wish Lanard would update the Corps website especially with all this great new design artwork we're seeing on the packaging. Also here are the 12" on the Smyth's website The Corps Elite V's The Curse 4 Figure pack - Soldier Force & The Corps UK |
