I barely visit the site anymore. Too busy with other projects.
Like this: G.I. JOE: The First Strike (Kindle Worlds Novella) (G.I. Joe: The March Of Cobra Book 1) - Kindle edition by Troy Osgood. Literature & Fiction Kindle eBooks @ Amazon.com. Almost done 2nd volume, got some stuff started on 3rd. Spending most of my time in the G.I. Joe Discussion Facebook group.

Still keeping the torch lit. No filecards makes hard to have disscussions although the new GIJoe brand manager makes mention of paying attention to the filecards.
I didn't know you were publishing anything. Need to check that out.

I've been doing some research on the 12 inch stuff. Looking for information on Con exclusives before the Club and even James Desimone took over. I happened to run across alot of Concept sketches by Kurt Groen on one of these. Mostly 12" stuff.
I tried uploading all I found into emails to you and Gyre on the Discussion group on FB and couldn't get the images to work. I'm going to post a few relevant ones here too. Most are concepts of 12" figures like Vietnam, Korea, Millennium Salute, Bob Hope, Teddy Roosevelt etc but there are a few like the ones posted which might be of interest. I'll post all the relevant stuff in the next few days. I've also found Adventure Team stuff but not sure if anyone's interested. |

There were some great concepts in the Hall of Fame line.
Like these three from 1995 which were original characters but no code names; Red Beret Commando Martial Arts Expert Surveillance Specialist Images from YoJoe.com Last edited by Tyroc; 01-15-2015 at 02:47 PM.. |

And some oddities
Unproduced Swamp Fighter. Not sure if it's 12 inch or 3 3/4 Armor Tech Robo Joe; Also, a Colonel Courage with a unique file name of D'Artagnan Washington and it looks like he might've been a General and Super Joe Rejects (Not sure about what exactly these are yet) Pretty sure they're all 12 inch concepts because I found them via various 12' sites internationally. The 12 inch figures would have made some cool 3 3/4 figures Last edited by Tyroc; 01-23-2018 at 09:40 AM.. |
