I see her in a different outfit, with a crossbow. I don't see Budo in his Samurai gear or Quick kick in his shirtless look. And I see Lady Jaye with her funny spear launcher replaced by an RPG. |

Decided on the ROC crossbow. I know this isn't the best picture, and I a actually have another picture of her on here, but this is my Scarlett so far. Still have detailing to do, as well as gear to add. I used this mold to fit a theme...

Retaliation Zartan's load out:
Note that while the color of the crossbow sucks (IMO), the cool thing about it is that the quiver attaches underneath which takes care of where to stash the bolts. Your Scarlett is looking good, by the way! |

Ummm, what?
Well, were talking about a fictional woman who wears a freaking leotard being a super-badass sniper chick on a fictional super-badass special ops team when we've yet to have a woman even get passed the Marine IOC in the real world. Maybe I shouldn't be worrying about if she uses a crossbow but whether she should be a character on my Joe team at all? Does that makes me a mysogynist? |

Well, it's not like we're fantasizing about which fictional cartoon/comic character we'd like to get with...
...oh wait. |

Well, her primary specialty is Intelligence. The Intelligence Support Activity, which is a SOF unit, includes female operators. The Soviets employed plenty of female snipers. Pretty much every national intelligence agency has employed female spies who have passed extensive covert training. I don't think that any of the above women actually did/do their work in leotards, but I'd say that Scarlett has a place on your team and you aren't a misogynist - you're looking at this too narrowly.
Russia's female snipers weren't exactly pulling LRRP duty or doing extended patrols like your average infantryman. A propaganda tool more than anything. Quote:
Hell, the VSS is integrally suppressed, select-fire sniper rifle built for close-to-mid range work, as is the VSK-94. There's more to "sniper" rifles than M82s/107s, CheyTac Interventions and L96s. Last edited by Konigstiger; 05-19-2014 at 05:47 PM.. |

There are physiological limits to what a well trained woman can do that are different from those of a well trained man, but there are some tough, resourceful women out there in the front lines of military forces all over the world.
There are real benefits of having women on a military team in the field - anything involving dealing with a civilian population for instance. |
