Check out these portraits of Arkham Origins Deadshot and Firefly from the talented alex2k5:
If Pursuit of Cobra had continued at the creative pace it maintained for a glorious year or so, I could totally imagine that it would have eventually produced small-scale versions of figures like this. Hell, Hasbro did produce small-scale versions of figures like this! In fact, I can practically identify the Joe parts used to create Deadshot, and they're all from before Pursuit of Cobra! Upper torso and upper arms from Rise of Cobra Ice Storm: Lower torso from Rise of Cobra Flash: Legs from Resolute 5-pack Duke: Maybe Arctic Destro's lower legs would be better. Whatever the case, top it off with the Firefly head of your choice, and you've got a damn-near exact Joe-scale Arkham Origins Deadshot. It's not just me, is it? Do you think this was deliberate? EDIT: I should have been more clear: I am aware that they are a different scale, and of course I am aware that they are not literally made of Joe parts. My post was intended only to draw (obvious) parallels between the design and aesthetic of the respective series. Last edited by Monte Williams; 03-24-2014 at 09:58 AM.. |

Are you saying they used the same molds to make the parts for Deadshot? I agree that they look similar, but if those are the same molds, then they have been retooled.
Yeah, I think you could make a really similar custom from the parts you mentioned, but I do not think they are from the same molds. |

So are these actual figures that are being produced for the Arkham Origins game? These look sick as hell! Are they the the same 3 and 3/4 scale or are they bigger? If these are the same scale as Joes, than I need to cop them, asap!

Those are DC Collectibes 7" scale figures, aren't they? I mean, they aren't custom Joes, they definitely weren't made with Joe parts...replicating them as customs would be possible using Joe parts, if that's your point.

They are 4"
And I believe they will eventually have versions of Batman Returns movie figs as well. They are ME Joe scale. |

Actually, they aren't Joe scale. I looked them up and they are 6-7 inches with figs like Bane and Killer Croc, being even bigger... Oh and they run in the $25-50 range, so count me out. I don't like them THAT much. If they were Joes, then I might spend that much... Maybe. I would buy these Batman ones for $10-15, max, maybe $20 for the badass Deathstroke figure they have.
