I don't hunt much but I've been seeing the new Abomination Wave at TRUs. Someone else may have a lead on one but my guess is the time has come and gone on those and online would be your best bet.

What's everyone's favorite MU figure from the line? I know a lot of people are partial to certain characters, but I'm more referring to figure sculpts and execution. I don't really care much for any particular Marvel line over another so I have no bias. I'd have to say one of the best figures I've seen in the past few years is Kang. Not really sure why, he just has a good vibe to him.

My fave is World War Hulk, that figure is the one the opened the floodgates for me, bought him & Skaar that lead me to checking out custom MU figs, which lead me to custom Joes which lead me down this looong strange path of customizing....

I've been seeing those WD Walgreens figures all over the place—FYI, they're currently marked down from $13.49 to $9.99 (with walgreens card). Sale is good until October 26th.
I picked up Mysterio and Rhino about a month ago but haven't seen the wave since. Rhino is a nice big chunky figure, probably a decent fight for Hulk. Mysterio is pretty good too but with limited articulation because of the huge helmet/cape combo. Not bad though. Check with ShadowNinja about these, he has been able to get a few from his area for people here and there and I'm hopefully getting an Elektra from him. Hmmm, good question. Honestly, I really love Hercules. I don't give two shits about the character, but the figure has great articulation for a big figure, including rocker ankles and the neck joint. He is a big, solid figure that is fun to pose. I'll bring him next time I see you - he'll fight off the blue monster that lurks in your toy box. |

I agree about Hercules. Great articulation. Its so hard to judge with all the capes and accessories on these. I thought Dr. Strange was great, with the articulated wrists.

But don't underestimate Blue Monster, you know what happened to Mace Windu, I'd be afraid to see what he's do when he spotted a jacked bearded guy wearing barely any clothes.

Some of the 3.75 Spider-Man figures from the 2009-2011(?) "Fiercest Foes" line are pretty awesome- particularly the villains. Have you picked any of them up? I love the sculpts of Carnage, Stretch Strike Venom, and even Doc Ock. Strange that they never made a lot of those villains for the MU line, they're probably meant to be unofficial MU figures anyway. Other than the cool villain sculpts, I think they made like 249 different Spider-Man figures in every type of environmental gear imaginable.

I'd love to get a couple of those SHS figures MU hasn't made, like Beast, but the price on some of them is pretty steep.
