Leatherneck in Sunbow attire. Originally the base uniform was from several different figures and the green matched on all of them so I wasn't going to paint the base. But the figure didn't have thigh straps which I didn't like and there was no figure with matching green that had them. So I had to bite the bullet and paint all the green on the figure. The feet, hands, and head are the only unpainted parts.
Head- 25th Mutt Body- ROC Heavy Metal (forgot his name?) Arms- 5-pack Joe Trooper Upper Legs- comic pack Hawk Lower Legs- ? Vest- Scrap-Iron Hat- Raginspoon cast Gun- Marauder Inc Last edited by Falcone; 01-31-2015 at 10:33 PM.. |

That looks nice. I like the vest. Good choice. The paint is sharp too. I'd like to see the flag on his arm a little better.

The flag is the one that's on the arm of the 5-pack Trooper, I painted around it. I know Leatherneck doesn't have one on his arm, but didn't want to waste I nice American flag patch.

VERY nice.
this looks soooooooo much better then what hasbro put out in multiple attempts i know its an artistic way but i think u missed an opportunity in knocking it out of the park...there seems like a lot of detailing can go into this...not saying drybrush or washes but small things. it would be time consuming but hell u already have invested this much time why not paint the gernades and buckles and belt loops. just my 2cents this looks fantastic ;) btw
