I add this to my multiple reasons for hating people.

Let the Dogs knaw on their junk for a while, that usually get's people to go along with anything you want.
Not quite what Shakespeare meant by "Let slip the Dogs of War" but it works.

The thing that I am concerned about is, I don't leave him out. He is a rescue dog so he does have some people issues but that's not his fault. It's not like I am leaving him out for hours and hours at a time becasue that is pure neglegence. He barks at their side of the fence, I know they have kids, and I hope to hell those little bastards are not antagonizing my dog. If that is the case and they have a bias towards my dog, they can make my life very miserable, cause 1) he Is a Dobe and that is to his disadvantage, and 2) i only leave him out for 10- 20 minutes at a time. He is going to bark, thats what gaurd dogs do.....I have a feeling my life is going to get complicated cause some idiot doesn't like dogs moves in and I happen to have one and live next door......dammit this is some BS.

dude, if you think its their kids then let your dog out and watch how the kids react from inside. do it a couple of times and see what happens. if they are mucking with the dog then talk to the neighbors about it or file a complaint against theme.

I understand that and he is only out for 10-15 minutes at a time. I am considerate person and understand that excessive barking could get on peoples nerves, and besides, they are renting and I am owning so I am not going anywhere anytime soon....

If it happens again, go talk to them. Explain to them, you've been
living there for over 2 yrs and NEVER had a complaint, specially a complaints that involves your dog!! Better yet, go talk to the humane society and let them know what's going on (let them know about the kids and how they might be the antagonizers). Maybe they'll go talk to your neighboor about not being an IDIOT & about watching their kids. Don't start a war ! People like that, who complain about a dog barking IN THE AFTERNOON, have some screws loose. They have no boundaries. You don't want them getting -extreme psycho- on your ass ,lol. GOOD LUCK!!! |

People never think their dogs do wrong. My experience says that most people are more defensive over their dogs than their kids.
We had a neighbor who had some fancy ass purebred Husky that was always chasing our chickens and livestock around. We called the people and politely asked them to tie him up, but they denied it was their dog (tho they were the only people in 100 miles to have a dog like that). One day it came over and killed our sheep, so my dad wasted it with the 30-06. He called them, and they said it couldn't be their dog, it was tied up on their front porch. My dad hung up the phone, drove to their house, threw the carcass on the front step, and knocked on the door. When they answered, he said that now it was on their front porch. They tried to sue, but the sheriff said that they were lucky we didn't sue them for the 12 dead sheep.

My dog is a small 10lb job. She is trained to go on those pee-pee pads. She will hold it in till you put one down. I put her in my back yard for hours and when she comes in she goes right to the pad as if she has been holding it the whole time. I never have time to walk her but she has a big yard to run. A few years ago i walked her around the block and a few houses down the guy sicked his dog on me and my dog (saying the words sick um). I quickly picked up my dog and had to kick his dog to stop it from jumping up at me. I love animals and know that the guy is an ass and its not the dogs falt. I called the cops to get him locked up and he told them that my dog pee's on his lawn every day and thats why his grass has yellow dead patches all over. My dog has never peed on his lawn and maybe he is confusing me with someone else but one thing is for sure. I buy grass killer and everytime i am heading that way i fill up the mcdonalds super size cup with grass killer and splash it across his lawn. His lawn has been looking worse and worse thru the years. I dont forget things to easy.

The sad thing here is a DOG can BE trained to be obedient. They can be taught to bark on command. To just let your dog outside for any ammount of time to just roam free and disturb people is a big problem. A society has to operate and having ones time to yourself is very very important to most. 10-15mins is a LONG time for a dog bark especially if it is contatnaly barking all that time it is out there, or even barking non stop for 4-5 min busrts. Just sit in you rliving room in total silence for 5mins and see how long that feels! Now sit there with your Stero blazing at 15 or higher for 15mins with it making all sorts of sound sliek airplanes, dogs barking etc and youll see what it is like. People who own dogs get used to thier noises like people do whiney ass babies. You become numb to it and when you intorduce that into other peoples environments of course there is going to be friction. You can also sit outside with your dog the whole time and control it and do your damned best to stop it from going ballistic. Then you might be able to see the neighbors little shits antagonising it and you will know they are at fault. I bet it is just barking at a bird on a fence post or a bug on the ground like most dogs do LOL. My friend has 2 huskes and a doberman and they only bark when he allows them to do so. when they go outside they sit on command and are totally silent, so I know a dog that is properly trianed does not have to be a raving barking noise maker! HAHA
