I went and saw The Avengers last Sunday. It was cool, though it dragged at times. I must say that those who say that Avengers is better than Dark Knight are out of their fucking minds. Hell, The Avengers wasn't even better than Spidey 2.
Also we have to be impressed with the quality of products that Marvel Studios are putting out. Remember back in the 90's when Marvel couldn't make a decent movie to save their ass? Now question has to be asked, when do we get our Justice League movie? As we speak the powers at be are thinking up plots and writing scripts for a potential JLA movie. I'm just wondering how long it will take before we see the finished product. Will The Batman franchise have to be rebooted? Will this verison of Superman be in it and who will fill out the rest of the roster? Will it be the original members of JLA, Supes, The Batman, Diana, The Flash, GL, J'onn J'ozz, and Aquaman? Personally I think the roster will be the Big 3 GL (Jon Stewart, for diversity purposes,) and the Flash. I just hope Warner Bros. doesn't rush the product becuase they see the potential to make a shit load of money give us something that's on par with The Avengers. |

Justice League is stupid! Marvel forever!
JK, I doubt we'll see a Justice Legue movie until 2017. The Man of Steel movie could be the first in the franchise leading upto a JL movie, but I know the Dark knight will have to be rebooted. Nolen's Batman definitely wouldn't fit in a world with other powered superheroes.

Superman, cat woman, jonah hex, and green lantern all had great well loved movies. I hope DC can somehow combine this wealth of quality into one super film.

a Justice League Movie?so unlikely its hard to believe it will ever happen.....even moreso it will NEVER beat the way Avengers was done.and Avengers kicked Spider Man 2 ass all over the planet.Raimis penchant to make all his Villians basically good people RUINED Doc Ock.
I also enjoyed Avengers more than Dark Knight.and thats coming from a huge Batmark Im also not "out of my fucking mind". heres the main reasons JL is unlikely.despite the MASSIVE advantage DC/WB have over everyone else. 1)DCs internal structure is a nightmare.a series of departments feuding over character use.Bruce Timm had this nightmare several times on JLU and so did the producers of Smallville/The Batman.Timm wasnt allowed use Aquaman at ALL in JLU season 4 because he MIGHT get his own show on CW....confused?I know I was.The Batman makers were not allowed use Scarecrow or Ras because of Batman Begins?you would think the more exposure the better no?and what about all the times Smallville wanted to feature Diana or Bruce Wayne?vetoed by the respective depts that control the characters with DC/WB media division 2)DC/WB have NO interest in WW,Aquaman or MM.see aborted TV pilots for their level of interest in the first two.Joss Whedon even said they were impossible to reason with concerning a WW movie.also note the "effort"that was put into the WW and Aquaman tv shows.WB have their own network for Fuck sake.....and they still couldnt get behind these 2. 3)they actually thought the bag of crap Miller pitched them a few years ago was a good idea........that shook me to the core of my person that ANYONE at WB thought that could work. 4)GL was the perfect jumping on point for this franchise(and many thought it was originally supposed to be)but they have said repeatedly they wont follow MS(brilliance)formula.why?who can say.it makes no sense to anyone except them.if the formula works and they get a top all time 5 grossing film who gives one chocolate fuck who they copied? 5)once it isnt Batman-they dont care.even Superman doesnt make them smile.Superman Returns had a GREAT opening weekend but it was viewed as a dissapointment by the suits........and if MOS doesnt have a effin epic opening weekend its likelyness to continue will be in serious doubt.....even Nolan wont be able to save it if it doesnt perform. 6)The Dark Knight has given DC/WB furiously unrealistic expectations.they need to realise that this movie had tons going for it aside from Nolans brilliance.I hope DKR box office is healthy enough to please them. 7)where is the Flash movie?I tell ya where it is-shelved in development hell because GL didnt have a 70 mill + opening weekend....... I could continue but wont.its too devastating for me as a DC fan to list their INCREDIBLE handicap getting their people on the big screen. Ive always been a 50/50 guy concerning DC/Marvel.no doubt whos winning the battle at the moment on the big screen. Last edited by JokerFC; 06-01-2012 at 11:24 AM.. |

I say skip the individual movies and just make the Justice League vs the Legion of Doom. Everyone already knows who Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor, Joker, and Green Lantern are. Let's just see 90 minutes of Superheroes fighting Supervillians, and WB can just sit back and count the money.

I don't understand the need to kick off every franchise with an origin movie.
It's killing so many potential powerhouse properties...

I think that the casual movie goer would go to see a movie featuring the big 3 plus the other 2 take on their greatest foes in a 90 minute 3D slugfest in a heartbeat, especially after the monster success the Avengers has been, lol! Last edited by Raw Dog; 06-02-2012 at 05:34 PM.. |
